Pho Thanh Xuan - Menu

My first time here 7/23/23. The Bahn mi beef sandwiches are yummy served lightly toasted. Wish they would give a little more beef. I just love beef The pork chops, spicy beef soup and fried ribs were also delicious Thai tea was ok. The restaurant is located in Tumon at the Fountain Plaza. Expect it to be busy and crowded. We were fortunate in finding seats right away thankfully. We waited about a good 35mins for our food. Our server was great. The place is clean. I'd return again.

I ordered the number 12 combination pho. I also got a S1 bahn mi. They were alright. The steak in the pho was thin and newly dropped into the soup, so that was good. The other ingredients were fine also. Bean sprouts seemed fresh. I did feel that the broth was a tad too light and bland for me. If anything, I like my pho to have so much flavor that it's not completely clear. There should be a little bit of bone marrow floating in the soup or something, lol. I had a similar experience with the bahn mi. The umami was just okay. I liked the texture of the bread, it had a great crisp without being too chewy. Located on the Tamuning strip, this pho joint is easily accessible by car and foot (y'all should drive in that heat though! from the string of resorts. Our party of 4 arrived for an early dinner and ordered Pho Noodles (2 , a Com Tam plate, Fresh Spring Rolls and Fried Chicken Wings to share. I can speak to the pho as one of the bowls were mine the broth was good, not the best but the aromatics were in order. I think there was a tad bit too much sugar in the broth so it disguised the taste of the beef bone.
