"Came here for dinner with a friend after a little hike. Ordered the antipasto, tuna tartare, and halibut to share. Antipasto has generous variety and delicious quality selections. The horseradish jam is incredibly unique and tasty. Tuna tartare was addicting so fatty with little bursts of crisp from the red onion. Halibut 10/10 cooked perfectly every bite from that plate was amazing very good and complete dish. Good atmosphere. I'd be comfortable bringing my family or a date here. Staff very kind and attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend."

The best pizza dough and cheese I have! So fresh! I don’t feel the greasy cheesy type of feeling I usually have after eating a pizza. I believe the freshness comes from the natural local ingredients. Stowe people do care a lot of about their food and put love and passion into their cooking.

The best pizza I ever had. Kudos to them! Being a vegetarian pizza is limited. Usually cheese or veggie pizza. This place offers 8 different types of pizza for vegetarians. You also have flower coal. You have great drinks and the service was fast and friendly. Prices are also very reasonable. I can't wait to return this summer.

First time here while on vacation. The pizza was incredible to be honest. A bit pricey but I attribute that to the area. I have been to similar “expensive pizza” style places that are true chains and they don’t compare to this place. My girlfriend and I had a pizza to share then each had an entree. The calamari WAS INCREDIBLE. Seriously, I could give just it 5 stars. My only reason for 4 stars that while the entree (chicken parm) was good itself, the sauce part of it was lacking in flavor a bit.

"Dining at Edson Hill is clearly meant to be an experience. They certainly charge you for it. At those prices, execution and flavor need to be spot on, and they just ... weren't. Pumpkin soup was so bland and thick, it was like eating flavorless applesauce. Scallops were very good, and cooked nicely, but thrown on top of a pile of spaghetti squash that, again, lacked any flavor. It was clearly squash season, but not a hint of spice or nutmeg. The duck was the highlight of the meal, and the only dish that was executed correctly. Our steak frites was so disappointing. The cut should have been saved for well done, it was not a quality piece of filet, which is the wrong steak for a frites anyways. The fries were perfect and plentiful, but when the fries outshine the steak on a frites plate, that's a problem. For $52 I expect a nice cut. Everything lacked salt and pepper. Dessert was fine, but the cheesecake didn't taste of pumpkin at all, and really didn't taste of cheesecake either, more of a slightly sour mousse cake. All in all, this was a lesson. Take your money to Montreal or the Eastern Townships. They do fine dining better, cheaper, and more casually so you don't have to play along with the stilted service only to be disappointed by the food. Edson Hill is meant for an over 50 crowd who is still more impressed by an obsequious maitre d'hotel than by properly seasoned food."
