"In the city centre of Beilngries there are numerous good inns. The Hotel Gams of the Liebscher family is one of them. Ambience: In front of the guest house Gams, inviting tables and chairs are located under shade-giving parasols in summer. It goes down to the building via a ramp suitable for disabled people. Right on the left is a cozy side room, ideal for closed companies. Right it goes into the guest room, further back there is still a larger space. The guest room is comfortably furnished. Centrally there is a large tiled stove, in the rear area is the counter. The tables are pretty covered with light blue linen table cloths, the benches and chairs have blue upholstery. The window benches are discreetly decorated, on the benches are matching sofa cushions. Cleanliness: Up to a spot on the tablecloth, cleanliness was impeccable. He might have been breakfast a bit earlier. Nevertheless, the table cloth should be changed, it must not be. Service: The welcome was very friendly and we got some tables offered. Ann-Kathrin was exemplary. Very friendly and attentive, always with a charming smile. Please, thank you and very much like to belong to their vocabulary, as well as the trained look, the empty glasses immediately discovered. Repeated demand whether everything is to our satisfaction or whether we still have a wish is obvious. Also the offer of a dessert or an espresso after the meal has not been forgotten. Menu: The menu offers a good offer of various soups, fish and meat dishes, several vegan and vegetarian dishes, children's dishes and desserts. Food: Today we chose a tomato cream soup with gin cream and thyme croutons (4.20 euros). The soup was nicely ally and had an intense taste of tomatoes. Unique homemade and very fine in taste. Tomato cream soup My partner chose fried tofu strips and ravioli (10.80 euros). The tofu strips tasted spicy, the ravioli were filled with spinach and swung into basil pesto. On vegetables there were still some pifferlings, sugar chops, peppers and spinach at this dish. Nicely decorated and elegantly decorated. Compliment! Tofu stripes with Ravioli I decided today for the old Bavarian Sauerbraten with apple blue herb, cauliflower and semmelknödel (13.80 Euro). Perfect! Sauerbs The Sauerbraten consisted of eight small pieces of beef, wonderfully delicate, juicy and of the best quality. The Semmelknödel was not too firm, homemade and impeccable. The apple wort also freshly prepared, the cauliflower still slightly bite-resistant. Altogether a plentiful portion. The dark sauce was to kneel down! The consistency is reduced by single chefs, slightly edgy and perfectly tasted. I almost meant to taste a hint of gingerbread spicy beside laurel, carnations and nutmeg. But that should ultimately remain the secret of the cook. Ann-Kathrin suggested to us in her lovely way to take another espresso (2,00 euros). We agreed. It wasn't espresso anymore, rather a double Ristretto. So strong that I barely tasted the little spoon of sugar. Just what to bite. Conclusion: First class kitchen, exemplary service, beautiful ambience. Prices are reasonable. A visit is highly recommended!"
