Pollheimerwirt - Menu

I am on a business trip in wolfsberg and so far was limited to what I can eat as a vegan. my Austrian colleague arranged a special vegan plate of pollheimerwirt and it was not disappointed. I received a beautiful plate of eating that. specially made for me and tasted delicious! it was excellent and included a delicious starter salad and garlic bread. my carnivore colleagues in what they tell me was a tasty steak, but I will take her word for it. I hope to return before I go back to Glasgow.

this restaurant has a very short selection of dressed during the week and apparently a somewhat better choice at the weekend. we were there on a Friday, we had the choice between a not interesting cheap menu or an article on the selection for. the evening menu. nothing was tempting, but we finally chose a steiric chicken dish with salat very average) and the prosperous pork and beef tenderloin very disappointing, large pieces of second choice meat that we could hardly cut, all in a so-called mushroom sauce, which tasted as it came directly from a powder package) . much too expensive for the meat quality. sitting outside was pleasant, but there is no point. Draußen unterm Carport...ääh auf der Terasse, wo der Lärm aller Tische schön laut schallt, hatten wir einen Tisch für den frühen Abend reserviert. Zusammen mit der Flasche Wein, zwei großen Wasser und einem großen Bier kam dann im Nachhinein die Info, dass es heute übrigens nur noch drei warme Gerichte gäbe. Wiener Schnitzel vom Schwein, Kärntner Nudeln und ein Salat. So eine Information gehört eigentlich ganz zu Anfang zur Begrüßung dazu, aber gut. Alle Gerichte waren geschmacklich in Ordnung, jedoch eher kleinere Portionen und in einfacher Ausführung. Die Putensteaks zum lieblos bzw gar nicht angerichteten Salat musste man selber in Streifen schneiden. Am Ende wurden uns die Teller nachein...
