"Congratulations, you came to the right place. This small restaurant is not fancy but very popular. First, it is unique, no one else serving the same kind of food anywhere around. Second, their food has a value: it is delicious and it gives you lots of energy needed to hike the trails in Koke'e or Waimea mountains. Finally, it is affordable, under $15. The price is just right for Kauai island. I waited less than 15 minutes to receive my order: #2, Hawaian style pulled pork on top of a 100% beef frank. Fully Satisfied!"

we started eating porkys when they had a food truck in kapaa. we are waiting to eat there again, since the move to waimea. we really liked the restaurant. the orders came out quickly. eating tasted like we remember. good the ride.

that was one of the best places we ate on the island. we shared a sandwich and regret not to get two! if we had more time, we would have gone a day! we still talk about it. the personal was also super friendly and as an additional bonus the bathroom was really clean.

I can not recommend porky enough! post waimea canyon and mild auto disease in the last stop at porky was an absolute highlight! 10/10 recommend to stop here for a hearty lunch, then go in “city” for a red dirt shirt and some shaved ices. Remember to close them around 4 o'clock, but they close earlier when they run out of pork! we ate at 1 o'clock and they were sold and closed at 2:30 o'clock. that was a taste! we had
