"Found a treasure! Dropped into Cafe Alona for a late lunch and discovered a true gem. Fresh food, made from scratch. We ordered the Pasta Primavera and it was amazing! Brittany provided us with perfect service. The desserts!!! We ordered one to go... while waiting Alona came out and delivered a sample of the Tres (Milk) Leche cake, we were stuffed but after the first taste we both devoured it, absolutely the best. I just returned from France and I have to say the Tres Leche was as good, maybe better than the Tiramisu we had there. The best thing about travel is discovering fabulous places to eat and Cafe Alona's food can compete with many of the fine dining establishments we have visited on our travels. We enjoyed lunch so much the first day, we came back for more the next day! I'm hoping I have the opportunity to enjoy dinner there while here this trip. Cafe Alona will be our restaurant of choice when visiting the Tri-Cities. Thank you Alona!"

"I agree w/ the Prior Review Very good food. I had added the same menu item as the previous reviewer unique combination of tilapia, sweet potatoes and spinach, w/ a mango sauce over the top. It sounds like a strange combination, but it was really fantastic!! I highly recommend it. Good service no complaints. The desserts were also unique and were delicious. Try 620 State when you are in downtown Bristol. Good chance."

"When we came back from Gatlinburg Tennesse, we all starved so that we quickly appeared on Google Maps for restaurants near us and this Italiano Cafe. Not a very large place while we were there, there were no interior seats. They had a number of tables right in front and then a covered area with some other tables. We all had to use the toilet room that is outside the building. There was an older lady who worked and she was super sweet and entertained with us a little. We ordered a pizza and I got a meatball. The food didn't take too long. The pizza was good, in my opinion it was nothing special, but it was definitely a good pizza. The meatball bottom was a little soggy for me, but the meatballs were really good. Definitely a local mom and pop shop. There was definitely a little in and out of traffic while we were there. I could see that this is a popular place for the locals. I'd say it's a pretty good clip and if you grab a pizza and a sub, it wouldn't be a bad choice."

"This subway location is visibly clean and organized, less a few tables that need to be brushed away, but as I put down, the store manager has addressed the problem. The manager, Irene, did a full job to welcome me and start my order. Delzie, the cashier, had a very welcoming smile and great gratitude. Customer service receives an A. The food was fresh and my order was immediately. I'm glad I quit."

"We are from out of state but visit Bristol often for date weekends. Last time we were in Bristol we walked past Machiavellis (after we had judt ate elsewhere) and the moment we got a whiff of it we instantly knew we had to come back and try it. Fast forward to 6 months later...we finally got to try it and it did not disappoint!! This was some of the best Italian food I've ever had!! My SO got the Lasagna and I got the Chicken Alfredo and we got breadsticks as the appetizer... we both cleaned our plates. Those bread sticks are what dreams are made of! Staff was very nice and prompt and the atmosphere was great because on one hand it was more upscale but then you round the corner and its the bar and people eating pizza watching football. Loved it and will definitely be back!"
