the elke had long set a large menu with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. because the demand was not so large and the choice was not so good with the guests, the card was kept somewhat tighter again. restaurant elke is approx. 20 minutes by car from basel and approx. 5 minutes from rheinfelden. it lies on a hill and offers a beautiful view over the hills. the menu gives a large selection of meat, fish and vegetarian. we had different salads,...flowers and frying, followed by dessert. all very tasty, and served by friendly and efficient waiters. the prices are very attractive to the Swiss. a good choice for lunch/night. Please check the opening hours before they leave.
