"The best meal I've had in a long time and great for the price. Just gutted we don't live in the area! The service is awesome, I would advise against ordering a starter as they supply you with rolls and olives that kinda thing and...the portions are quite big. A fantastic atmosphere and meal. The homemade pannacota is the best I've ever tasted!"

Wonderful service while we stopped by to wait for our train to go to the Cologne Christmas market. Came back for a delicious dinner. Great entree choices...

Friendly service and good food. Atmosphere in this restaurant is great. On a thursday evening almost fully booked. Both hosts were really good at their service. Saltimbuca a la romana was very good.

"Wenn man einen Eintrag mit dem Titel "Das Beste" schreiben möchte und das schon vergeben ist, sagt das wohl schon alles aus. Zabala ist für uns "Urlaub" vom Alltag. Hier können wir alles um uns herum vergessen und nur genießen. Das Essen, der Wein, der Kaffee und Espresso (ebenfalls der Beste der Stadt), die Bewirtung, das Ambiente ist Ausgezeichnet. Bitte lassen Sie sich weder die Tapas (die gibt es nirgend's Besser) sowie auch die Themenabende "Noche von Amigos" (Ecuador trifft Deutschland, Spargeltime, Tartufo die Alba u.v.m) nicht entgehen. Die Themenabende sind immer etwas ganz spezielles und auf der Homepage frühzeitig eingestellt. Das Vertrauen in die Kochkünste der Köchin ist so groß, das ich heute sehr vieles esse, das ich früher nicht mochte. Hier traut man sich, auch mal etwas Neues zu probieren und ich wurde noch nie enttäuscht.Kurzum: Wir wohnen knapp seit 2 Jahren in Frechen und Zabala gehört zu unserem Leben dazu :)"

"I visited my sohn in köln, and he suggested that we visit la tasca when it was near where he lived, and he wanted me to try the steak. Although the restaurant was just over booked out, the manager found us a table. the service was excellent and the steak was delicious. I can highly recommend this restaurant if they are in this area of carols. I am very pleased to visit again."

"Very important... reservation before a table! Very atmospheric atmosphere, but to read the map quite dark.(we were still given a lamp unrequired). Great. Staff are very friendly. Compact small card, no pizza....but still enough choice and fresh!! The food was tasty, but it would take proportions... go and try itself. Very recommended."
