"Although billing itself as a pizzeria, Isola Verde also offers traditional Italian dishes. We were the only ones not eating pizzas, however, in a restaurant crowded with what appeared to be families from the area (always a good sign! . The restaurant, on a busy street, has an unassuming exterior, so it’s easy to miss, but we found an attractive and cozy interior during our first visit. We started with soup, including my very tasty fish soup consisting of mussels, clams, and fish in a clear broth. For our main courses, my wife had a grilled salmon with buttered spinach while I had saltimbocca ala Romana (literally, “jumps in the mouth” , a dish as traditionally Italian as osso buco. Sehr nette Pizzeria, Essen ist sehr gut und sie haben einen gemütlichen Gastgarten. Sie liefern auch immer sehr schnell nach Hause. Chef und Personal sind immer sehr freundlich.

Hervorragendes italienisches Restaurant. Wenn man auch abseits einer guten Pizza wirklich feine italienische Spezialitäten schätzt, ist man hier richtig. Freundliche Atmosphäre, nettes Personal, der Chef persönlich serviert. Zur Rechnung gibt es traditionell einen Grappa oder einen Amaretto eine liebe gastfreundliche Geste. Preislich sicherlich eher gehoben, aber das ist mir die Qualität wert. Leider komme ich nicht mehr so oft hin, seit ich nicht mehr in Wien wohne, aber wenn ich in Wien bin schaue ich immer gerne wieder vorbei.
