"With 13 people we were in this place, we had reserved and got a nice table. The card was quickly brought to us, but then it was a long time to wait for us to give up our order. Our request that the children's dishes are served first was unfortunately completely ignored. It was just turned around. The waiting period was relatively long (about 45 minutes) and the children had to wait almost 1/2 hours longer. Among other things, a tomato salad was ordered and a tuna salad without onions. It's just in walking distance from the city centre, a cosy Italian restaurant. Staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Great selection of starters, tasty pizza, pasta etc. always with a nice choice of special offers. You can order pizzas ranging from small-medium-big. We love the food and the atmosphere here, it's an amazing restaurant.

Had a very nice visit to this restaurant. We were a small group. The waiter was really accommodating, friendly, had a good sense of humor. The service was excellent, even though we were in a bit secluded corner of the restaurant. And a complimentary schnaps after dinner ; Would definitely recommend. A very comfortable and home-like atmosphere.

I was visiting friends in Bayreuth and they took me out to this restaurant on the last night of my stay. The restaurant is run by Italians and the food tastes amazing. I had the lasagne it was delicious. The menu has everything you would expect from a good Italian restaurant and they also have a daily specials menu so there are plenty of options. San Marino has a friendly atmosphere and the staff made us feel really welcome they brought us some schnapps at the end of our meal : I will definitely be back next time I am in Bayreuth!
