River Bend was s total surprise. The food and the service was superb. The chef checked on us a number of times and his wife was our server. Everything was prepared on site. All our food came out hot and fresh. If you're in Marshall, Jefferson or Shreveport, River Bend is a short drive and well worth it. You won't be disappointed.

Bend around Big Pines and eat over the water. We have always liked RiverBend. This place showed up years ago in the wake of Bayou Landing closing and old Big Pines burning down. It is a nice restaurant with a good view over a canal of Caddo especially if you sit in the outdoor screened in room above the water. It can be hotter there but there are fans. The food is good and made better by the setting. The fried catfish is just that and the French fries are fried. People come here too for the hush puppies, Jalapeno or not with the beans and cole slaw....the initial set up. Many people have made a meal just off of those.
