It's a fuke I landed here and drove 20 minutes out of my way, because after an appointment in downtown Portland I was thrilled to try a new place for breakfast. My daughter, who has Celiac disease, breathed a sigh of relief to go only in Roots Cafe. She was so happy to have a place where she can eat on the menu and you can't even say that the food is GF SO DELICIOUS! We came to breakfast 2 morning in a row while we were in town. The place is so clean, and love all wood and decor of this place. I wish they had a Roots Cafe in Chicago!

This place is amazing. If you need a cup of coffee, they have it! Are you a professional who likes to work in a coffee shop? You accredit! There are high tips for individuals. Place is beautiful, with a good terrace, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming, it really invites you to come again and again! Eating is really good, and they have many healthy options. I can't recommend this place enough.
