"I waited an hour and 20 minutes for subpar food and non-carbonated soda. They only have 1 person cooking and one person serving. Place was halfway full so it was super slow. I highly recommend that they hire more staff to fulfill the demand. I understand that hiring could be a genuine issue for this place, but in that case they have to work with some type of pep. I ordered the French dip (sandwich) which is supposed to have cheese, it was not on there. Also, there were 2 pieces of roast beef on the sandwich. From other places I've had a French dip, this was the worst. The aus ju sauce that came with it smelled and tasted like there was maple syrup in it. I don't know if that's what it's mad...

This place is a Quantico institution. I think chesty himself was a regular patron. I've had the sandwiches which are huge and the buffalo chicken salad which was enough to feed a platoon. Make sure you try the ranch dressing if you order appetizers, wings, mozzarella sticks, salad, whatever because that dressing is slap-yo-sergeant-good!

We came here because Harold Cathy was closed down and we're not disappointed. Meatloaf was my favorite. I'm not into the seafood bowl (it's just not what I expected). Jen is an awesome staff and deserves a raise! She was very attentive and she did everything to accommodate us who were starving and she's the only one at restaurant that day. The food came out nice, fast, and warm. Will totally be back.

I've been going to Sam's off and on since 1994. As many others have said, it is a Quantico institution. Despite changes through the years, the ambiance remains classic. That said the new owners have expanded the menu with an eclectic and traditional mix of dishes that include everything from pork chop and lasagna specials to Korean choices. Even with the variety, the food is tasty, fresh and well-prepared. As an added bonus, karaoke is available, too!
