"Our first time in a strictly Korean event restaurant... And it was wonderful and the food was excellent!!! The staff was great and the (owner/manager?? was excited to talk about the menu items and how they were prepared... She even suggested a dessert (a kind of milk/water block shaved ice... that resembles NOTE, as we have ever before, very ornate, lit tasting, with fresh fruit and various colored sauces... Definitely a place to bring family and friends, and we will come again many times!!"

we moved out a few years ago from Champaign/Urbana (savoy), but all couple months we find ourselves on the look for an excuse to return and san maru is a must.

I have tried most of the Korean restaurants in champaignurbana, and while there are some possibilities in the city, san maru is simply my favorite. at this point I have.
