"Went on New Years Eve with my boyfriend for drinks and we went specifically for the dueling pianos. Called earlier in the week and was advised yes they would have the dueling pianos on New Years Eve....also called again that day to make sure they would have the dueling pianos that night and was advised again dueling pianos would be on at 8:00 that night.. Arrived at Schafers at 9:00 sat down at the bar and asked the bartender why the dueling pianos were not on...was advised they would be coming back on shortly and was suggested we order a drink in the meantime....had our drink, ordered some food....1 hour later still no dueling pianos. "Literally the worse Panera in the area. I?ve called and complained but at this point they need new management. The manager doesn?t do anything to make you feel compensated in any way. She just makes excuses. From basic things like notifications foronline orders/ rapid pick up and the food itself are always a disappointment or problem. Today I had it, my sandwich wasterrible. Bread was dry and hard. Salad which was a full salad was half way full. Higher management needs to get involved!"

"The food here is amazing. I actually didn’t get the pasta when I went so I can’t say it’s the best pasta on Long Island. I had the lobster pizza and it was absolutely amazing. They also bring out a huge loaf of garlic bread right out of the oven it’s so fluffy and moist and delicious! Some of the best bread I’ve ever had. All their ingredients are quality and everything tastes really fresh. The place is a bit small and the first time I went it was a Saturday and they kinda rudely said you had to have a reservation on Saturdays but the food by far makes up for it."
