"Usually we do not expect much from restaurants in ski mountains. This one is different. We spent 6 days in Kirchberg skiing this Feb and I think we went to this restaurant 4 times for lunch. We actually came to this restaurant one year ago....The dishes such as spaghetti in pesto sauce and sausages were good. Sometimes they had daily specials such as lamb chops, roast beef or spare ribs, and they were just great. Ask for the daily special. This restaurant is next to chairlift C1 and C7. I used to go early around 11:30am in order to get tables for lunch. My children also commented that their hot chocolate was also one of the best in the mountain, especially the cream on top ! than your average mountain restaurant. Better food too and table service. Of course a bit more expensive but worth it. Reservation recommended. Right beside the chair lift top. Don't go in the bar next door by mistake.

In a resort where there are a total of 59 mountain skihuttes where you are spoiled for choice, we ate here at least 5 times during our 9 days skiing. Very friendly staff. Great homemade potato soup and fabulous pasta along with most of the...usual Tyrolean offerings. Opt for a seat at the front by the window if possible to enjoy fabulous views.
