"I have a lot to do with Upside, so I found in the big unknown, huge metropolis of Minneapolis, with my GPS, and found this little hole in the wall-rib connection. Personality plus! I think there were parking spaces behind the building, but I decided to walk from a side street. I really liked the mild bbq ribs, twice baked potato 1/2, and the little petite cup Coleslaw. Just a small table, and not really a meal at any place, so my only coalition that was just about my circumstances, not her food, was that I didn't eat it hot. I didn't know where to stop and eat, so everything went home. I'll plan to find a park nearby before I get the food, so I can have top enjoyment! Quirky MN memorabilia...

I've been here for years. Whenever I'm in the neighborhood. This place offers some of the best BBQ in cities, a small joint with a basic menu and great taste.

The staff was friendly, but our food was not good, the ribs were really hard, the pulled pig was hard and fat, the potato skin was hard. I wanted this to be amazing because it's really close to home.

This excellent hidden treasure hasn't skipped a blow as I discovered it 20 years ago, they even sell their homemade sauce jarred! This place can't be wrong, customer service? Yup, that also, even seating despite its size.

"The service food at Manny's are the absolute best. My only issue is that it gets very loud in the dining room. We try to go early to avoid this, but by the end of our dinner, it's hard to hear each other. This won't stop us from dining. We do love the place"

"I had some delicious items from this place. my biggest sadnesses are 1,) that there are no rehearsals offered (even before the pandemic.) if they want to try something, they need a whole order that suck because if they don't like it, they end throw away. now you waste food and money. pity for them. 2) no changes to their sandwiches. almost all their sandwich specials come with cheese that I don't eat (yes, I know it's vegan. No, I still don't eat 3) they sneak cheese in (almost) everything. I tried the potato salad and had to throw it away. Havarti-Käse was there, what? I still support this place. I love the vegan butcher concept. I love her minimart inside with vegan tasty, which they can not find exactly anywhere. I hope they will continue to thrive and improve."

"I had a great meal at this restaurant. I dined at the bar, so it was a bit noisier than the rest of the restaurant. However, the bar staff were excellent - the best I've encountered during my stay. I ordered the lobster, scallop, and shrimp dish, and all were cooked perfectly. For dessert, I tried the chocolate mousse, which was enough to share between 2 or 3 people. I will definitely be coming back."

"We enjoyed dinner for our Anniversary. This was immediately recognized by the staff and our table was modestly decorated for this which was nice. Our server was very attentive to anything we needed but was not intrusive. Noise level provided some good vibe which is nice for a steak house, not TOO quiet. We ordered prime rib which was excellent and good portion. The prix fixe menu allowed for good upgrade opportunities. Value of the food was fairly good. I would rate food in the upper third and prices that matched. I recommend 801 for anyone who is more interested in knowing what they are getting and a nice environment for all occasions. The menu was straight forward so probably not the ideal place for someone looking for an eclectic experience."
