"If you're looking for sushi in the STL area, look no further than Shogun. I've been coming here since 2016 and have tried many sushi restaurants in the area, but none compare to Shogun. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the servers can be a bit slow and their English is limited. But trust me, the wait is worth it! If you want better sushi, you'll have to go to a coastal town."

The food was great. The service was okay. I would like to have a refill on my drink, even if I had to pay for it, but the experience was on the lack of service. The chef was super entertaining and our food was delicious!

We had a great time at Shogun in Alton. The food was fantastic, especially the sushi that my guests loved. The servers were attentive and the Hibachi chef put on a great show for us. The portions were generous and flavorful. I would definitely return to this restaurant.

I am delighted to find a restaurant like this in Alton that offers fantastic food and a fun atmosphere. The chefs put on a great show for both adults and children, and the food is excellent. They go above and beyond to make birthdays special, with a Dragon Dance to celebrate and allowing guests to join in the dance. It's a truly entertaining experience.
