"First time we have tried this place and it was via door dash. Got the beef and salmon dishes and the gyoza. Salmon with egg noodles and beef with rice, add egg and tofu. Also ordered two extra "house sauces" in case since I didnt know what to expect. The gyoza was so fried/cooked it was extremely dry and did not come with any type of sauce. Wouldnt ever order again. The beef and salmon dishes seemed like they had no flavor on the first bites, even after mixing well. The "extra" sauce they gave were you standard plastic sauce cups with maaaaaaaybe 1/5th full of sauce. Paying an extra 50c I would expect a more than half full side sauce. The sauce itself was good and just wished there was more...

Food is always good here. Sad to see them close in a week. Probably one of the better asian foods around the area too. I will miss this place.

"Got really excited when this place came up during a web search for another Izakaya. Convinced my partner to give it a try after reviewing other comments on line. The parking should have been a giveaway; trashy, unkept and not maintained, poor street appearance. We walked in and the interior didn’t look much better. Should have left then. But like a toothache, I wanted to try the food. The tempura was crudely chopped hunks of vegetables, greasy, and without flavor. The Hamachi Kama was large and looked okay but had a fishy smell to it and the presentation was lacking; some shredded cabbage and a small dollop of grated radish and an equal amount of dipping sauce and half a slice of lemon. Oy!The several pieces of nigiri looked okay, but we’re not spiced with any wasabi or sauce and the sushi rice was atrocious; it wasn’t even sushi rice but mealy, overcooked and flavorless plain rice that tasted awful. We asked the server if the Tamago was home made, in the restaurant. She assured us that it was. When she delivered it it was the industrial orange yellow, homogenized tamago, which we sent back. The staff was clearly not familiar with the menu and didn’t know their own dishes. Definitely not Japanese, and that included the ‘chef’.We spent over $120 on this meal. It thought me not to rely on general reviews, but trust my first instincts.Avoid at all cost.Parking: Not ADA compliant. Dirty weeds growing around the perimeter. Unkept."
