"Food, setting, ambiance was absolutely phenomenal. Particularly how they set the patio up with wind barriers that seamlessly flow without abruptly disturbing the view is done well and professionally. Our server Angelina was incredibly attentive as well and made the night for our date memorable! For appetizers we got the raw oysters and beef carpaccio. Entrees was the sixty south salmon and seabass. Dessert was cookie skillet. All, and i absolutely mean it, all were made to perfection. Imho, best restaurant for dates, special occasion, business meetings, etc in memphis metropolitan! Been here a couple times and continues to be consistent with quality and service!"

"Fantastic food and tea. They have great lunch specials too. It's the perfect stop before or after a movie. We've been going for years and always love it! I'm partial to the honeydew bubble tea, but the jackfruit and passion fruit are also amazing. (Who am I kidding, they're all amazing! Just took my husband for the first time and he's in love as well now."

"Really good grill in Memphis. Imagine that. The mild sauce is really good sweet what I like. So I put it in my ribs and brisket. I forgot to make a picture of all desserts We have. But the banana pudding was great. The chocolate cake my wife ate was good. A little chewing, but well none of the less and the Brownies ate the kids were bigger than we expected. The kids threw them up. I ate all my coconut cream pee. It was pretty sweet. But too good to stop. We will definitely be back."

"We took our youngest son to eat at Southern Social (he once worked there about 2 years ago). The staff that were there when he worked there were thrilled to see him again and they even printed special menus for our dinner. These are the things that help Southern Social get the 5th star! We had the Bacon Gouda Fondue as an appetizer and it was delicious. The pita was just the right thickness to keep it crispy but sturdy enough to dip in the smoked gouda. My wife and son had the Harvest salad while I enjoyed the classic wedge. Each salad was fresh and tasty, with just the right amount of dressing. For our entrees, our son had Aunt Thelma's Fried Chicken, my wife enjoyed the Eggplant Parmesan Ravioli and I had the Blackened Shrimp Pasta. Each entrée was delicious just the right temperature and seasoned perfectly. All of the entrees came out just after we finished our salads, so the pace of the food delivery was excellent. Our son ordered the Southern Strawberry Cake and he thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife commented that it had the freshest strawberry taste of anything other than a fresh strawberry! Overall, the service was excellent. Kiley was our primary server and she was excellent very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great tips and advice. We absolutely enjoyed our dinner Southern Social is one of our all time favorites in the Memphis area. They always take great care of us!"

"Really enjoyed this meal, definitely left full and happy. Tip: Make reservations, we made ours originally for a Fri evening 1 week in advance, and times were very limited. Ended up changing it for reasons to a Thurs evening a few days prior. Got the Spring cocktails, the spring thyme spritzer was the best of the 2, the other being the run for the roses. We also got the chargrilled oysters, half dozen, but they weren't $23 worthy. Also got the pretzel roll prime Rib, again, not worth $21 (only prime Rib in Memphis worth anything, is the French dip at Houston's side note)....both of these were starters try another starter is my suggestion. Ordered the bourbon molasses salmon. Salmon was good, the sides that come with are sweet potato casserole, definitely yummy, and green beans. Trade out the green beans...bit tough and rubbery. Dessert got the cream brulee, again very yummy and very rich we should've shared 1 as each of us getting 1 definitely put us over the top of beyond full. Atmosphere was wonderful, we sat on the enclosed patio and it was perfect, around 8 pm....very romantic and refreshing. The servers are beyond polite and professional, prob some of the best in Memphis. Overall 4 stars, prices off on a few things for quality, but otherwise excellent and definitely glad had the experience."
