"This is the BEST Italian/Americana fusion you?re gonna find in the heart of Simsbury, actually I?d be bold enough to say it, in the VALLEY! So good. If you live nearby or just passing through, you owe it to yourself to come to Soma. Great staff as well, we were seated in a matter of minutes! This is on a Friday night folks. So good. Everything from the pan seared scallops appetizer down to the decadent strawberry cheesecake : I?m going to have to run a few miles tonight but all worth it!!! (PS, the lobster ravioli will melt in your mouth and the PO boy fried shrimp sandwich is one of the best I?ve had in the northeast I?d rate 6/5 if I could. The quality of food and portion size is well worth the price. A good variety of food on the menu and the staff is friendly. Really nice outdoor seating great for a nice night out. Make a reservation in advance as it is quite popular for good reason. Would come back for sure.

Food and service was excellent with an eclectic menu and generous portions. I had the duck which was top notch and the sea bass that my partner had was great. The reason for not giving 5 stars was the rigid hostess who insisted that we had to sit at our ?assigned? table, even though other tables were empty.

My fiance and I came for a Thursday date night. Very prompt hostess who showed us to our table and an attentive waitor who brought us our drinks and meals. A few other staff members also checked in on us throughout our meal. We ordered the calamari for qn appetizers and it was amazing. Cocktails were perfectly made and reasonably priced. They had specials on bottles of wine which we also purchased. Unfortunately the filet we ordered was not cooked to our liking but we were able to cook it a little more. I ordered the potato gnocchi with vegetables and sausage. Unfortunately the gnocchi was battered and fried and also tasted stale. Definitely a disappointment.

"kellnerin did not seem to know any items on the menu. she brought the half of the meal and it took one to get the rest. she's never on the table again. when they did, we asked for food to be wrapped and she did not return for one. we had to ask if the drinks are refilled several times, etc. only not the best service."

"We came here with the family and had a very nice time! Staff here treated You like family, the food is delicious and with a lot of taste! "We found this place just prior to our wedding, my now-wife had lunch with a co-worker and they loved the place and food. We liked the setting and atmosphere so much that we booked our wedding dinner there, and later a baby shower brunch. Chris is very fantastic, and the crew that ran both of our event's did an absolutely top-notch job handling both events! We are VERY impressed with the service and level of attention given to our parties during both events. The food was amazing, and they made both events very enjoyable and relaxing for us. The prices for events are VERY reasonable as well, and Chris was incredibly relaxing and accommodating to work with for both events. I can't recommend this place enough! For the ease of dealing with them, the incredible and professional service, and the price... we found a real gem of a place and will definitely be using this venue for future events!"

"My party and I dined at the Winged Bear for dinner, marking our first visit since the pandemic shutdown. I am happy to say that the restaurant still offers the same high-quality food. The Cuban sandwich I ordered was delicious, and my companions enjoyed their meals as well. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, striking a good balance. Our meals were promptly served, but we never felt rushed. The prices were reasonable. It would be helpful for the restaurant to update their online information, as only Google had accurate hours listed. We definitely plan to return in the future."
