"This was one of the first restaurants we ate at with friends after our arrival in Regensburg. For most, the location near Haidplatz is easily walkable from anywhere in the old city. Our party consisted of four adults and three children, ages 11, 10, and 8. We had no trouble getting a table for our larger party. The atmosphere is very nice--great lighting, lovely arches, attractive buffet--but was somewhat loud when busy, which made conversation up and down the table a little difficult at times. Four of us ordered pizza, two of the kids ordered pasta off the children's menu, and I ordered a calamari salad. Needing a break from the meat fest (although it been great) and to try and get some veg. With the food we visited this restaurant and were not disappointed. Great roast veg anti-pasti followed by a substantial bowl of spaghetti puttanesca, all very tasty and all served in a beautiful old uilding with a combed ceiling. Very good value and friendly staff.
