"I hadn't been to Steak n Shake in a long, long time, and got a little curious recently. I know that they smash/flatten the burger patties on the griddle, which is the opposite of the way I prefer to let burgers cook untouched to seal in the juices but I was was out late one night and it was between them and White Castle and SnS prevailed. Loved the shake and fries were also very good. We enjoyed the burgers but there was no bacon on my bacon cheeseburger.

Many reviews I've seen for this location have slammed the service but that WAS NOT our experience. I've been coming here for years and always been delighted with the service. Very friendly and helpful service.

I 've been to a lot of Steak 'n Shakes in a lot of states, and especially across Ohio. This is the best Steak 'n Shake I 've personally been to. The general manager was incredibly nice to us and seemingly her employees too (which is a genuine plus . She was talkative and funny, and very helpful. The staff were all very nice to us as well. Some of the best I 've interacted with, even outside of a fast food setting. The food itself was above average. Which is good to see as it seems like a lot of Steak 'n Shakes are falling off on that front. I am certainly going to come back here. Can 't wait until their dining room opens back up! ;
