"Very passable cajun. I love good Cajun food but the two most popular 'big chain ' Cajun restaurants have always been a disappointment. So when I heard about this local eatery in Hudson Oaks I was hopeful that it would be different. I was not disappointed. For appetizers we started with fried pickles (very good) and seafood gumbo. I 'm somewhat of a gumbo aficionado and can honestly say it was about as good as you would expect to find anywhere in N 'Awlins. Next came the meal, and WOW! We ordered a half order of the seafood platter (catfish, oysters, crawfish, gator, shrimp, and fries) and could not believe the portions. My wife and I shared the platter and still had more than enough to take home in a doggy bag. The food was standard fried fare and decent for the money. Much better than you get at the big chains. The batter was not great but still very passable. My only complaint was that the pieces (crawfish, gator, etc) were so small it was sometimes difficult to tell what you were eating."

"Great place to go eat and hang out. All the food is good. They have excellent portion sizes. They even have a spot outside so the kids play. "Great local spot for some pretty awesome pizza and beer! I have to say that I was impressed by their pizza, the dough was hand stretched and the toppings were delicious. Their oven baked them to perfection, very similar to Cane Rosso. Their made in house beer is awesome with some great mainstays along with others that rotate in and out throughout the seasons. Families are welcome or there's plenty of bar space."
