"Went to Charlottesville for the weekend because I used to live there and wanted to try some of my old favorite food places. I ordered ahead of time the night before because I wanted to pick it up in the morning. I ordered a smoked Turkey sandwich with extra roasted tomatoes, cucumbers, pickles and Asiago and edam cheese, with extra cheese for both kinds on my sandwich. I specifically ordered their house dressing on top of my sandwich as well as on the side and one side of mustard and one side of mayo. Excellent ingredients all around so tons of choices for sandwiches. House dressing is delicious, also recommend grabbing some of that to go with lots of bread ends.

I decided to give this place another try. There aren 't many places yet that offer gluten free sandwiches, so I really really wanted it to work out. I asked for the very veggie in gluten free bread. I was told that wouldn 't work on gluten free bread cause it 's thin and hummus is thick. I said that 's OK! I also asked for no peppers, add cucumber. Well, yet again, I got peppers and no cucumber. Ugh. Won 't be going back.... just be aware, they don 't want to sell what they offer and they don 't go by what your receipt says...

"I love Public Fish! My partner and I dine here most days after a hike in SNP. We usually arrive during happy hour and take advantage of the specials including the oyster shooters and lobster rolls. Now I am not the biggest **** Mary person but this place has THE BEST **** mix! It's house made and always taste great every time. I like to get my oyster shots virgin so I can get full flavor of the mix/oyster. The clam chowder is perfect for a chilly day. It's hearty, creamy and has plenty of clams veggies. The chilled lobster roll is my go to. It's light and the bun is not too buttery so doesn't give you a weighed down feeling. My guy usually gets something different each time, lobster roll, crab cake sandwich, fish special, etc. I can't recall the special for this past Sunday but he thoroughly enjoyed it. The service is always on point here as well. I definitely suggest dining here, just make sure to have a reservation as they fill up quickly and the bar stays busy so don't count on that for seating unless you arrive close to opening time!"

"We were in town for just a night and this place was recommended to us and we had a little trouble finding it but a quick phone call to the restaurant got us there. It was actually part of the fun. The food and service and cocktails here were absolutely wonderful. We were super hungry and ordered a bunch of small plates and the best for us were the scallops, the tenderloin, the goat cheese/endive salad and the chocolate giant macaron dessert. They make their own Limoncello in house which was delicious, and my Barbie cocktail was perfectly crafted."

"we had so much luck getting two sitting on a Monday night bar for dinner. eating, service and ambiente is amazing. I had the braided lamb with orzo and coy out of their special rotating menu and my man had the Pasta-Bolonasge and we shared the grilled Hiumi cheese. everything was great, but the lamb was by far the best. the bartender also gave me a great wee recommendation. I wish I had a second to eat more. reservation, especially on Monday, as this is a very popular restaurant. on Monday, many restaurants in charlottesville are closed, so orzo is one of the few sit-dinner options, so it is even more important to have reservations, as their terrace is the only option for walkins and it is not heated."

"This is a review for the GREENBRIER location only! I hate giving this place only 2 stars. I truly do. You know what you 're getting with Guad. It 's fine. It 's Mexican food. We don 't have a ton of great options around here. Everyone knows that. Despite, that I would have given this four stars. I gave the other locations (BESIDES PANTOPS which I will discuss in that review) four stars. Why? Because I 'm not super picky with my Mexican food. It 's fine. It 's good enough for me to give four stars. Again, not picky. For the MOST part, the service is quite good! Almost all of the servers are attentive and extremely friendly! There is one server, however, who is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. I mean, incredibly awful. I do not want to name this person publicly, but there is NO WAY that other people haven 't complained about them. To say that this server is rude is an understatement. It will make your jaw drop. The first time it happened, I thought, Maybe they were just having a bad day. After it happened two or three more times, I thought, The only way this person is still employed is because they must be the owner 's spouse. There is no way this person should still be employed. Customer service is NOT for them. Why do they hate life so much? And there is NOTHING you can do to cheer this person up: tip super crazy high amounts, kill with kindness , crack jokes, etc. The last time I was there, this server showed up to greet me with their arms crossed, as if to say, WELL?!! What do you want to eat, dummy? No Hello . No Hi there . No My name is ____ and I 'll be taking care of you , etc. Just folded arms and a stare like I just ran over their dog. I have never seen anything like this in my life. I do not visit this location anymore.... solely because of this ONE server. I will drive further to go to a different location, and I would suggest you do the same. Trust me, if you get the bad luck of getting this person, you will have a MISERABLE meal. If you are the owner reading this, are you aware that one of your servers is this rude? You might want to take a little inventory with who you are hiring because at least at this location, you completely lost my business."
