"Instead of leaving a generic 5-star rating, I wanted to go a bit deeper. The entire crew at Tamaqua Station Restaurant was extremely helpful and very courteous. I recommend STRONGLY reservations before your visit, and if you are ever delayed, call and let them know. Totalambiance: While you go to the restaurant, you are greeted by a very rustic and beautifully held foyer with 2 dining rooms left and right, along with a more casual bar area right in front. Hidden in this place for lunch today and it was absolutely amazing! Food and service were phenomenal and the facility itself is beautiful! Can't recommend this place anymore. We are lucky to have found it and will definitely be back! I'd say it's worth the 40-minute drive.

We found this place on the internet...this city was a half way brand between Denver Dallas PA and needed a good place to eat Tamaqua Station restaurant. What a good choice! We were pleasantly surprised by everyone! People, employees, food in the ambience. First rate. If you go in the area, you won't be disappointed!

My wife and I stayed here on our motorcycle and the place is amazing. Many places are not bikers friendly. This place is biker friendly and the building alone is amazing. The food was fantastic. My wife had the lamb frame. It was from this world. I had calfspikat, it was different than I had before. The sauce was very good and the calf could be cut with a fork. The owner John came to our table to see how we liked our food and service. We told him Rachael, our waitress was great and the food was fantastic. When we were gone, John came back to me and shook my hand and greeted us to come back. We checked the building on the way out and it is very nice and many historical things in it. Next time...
