"Sadly, won 't go back. Unfortunately, we were given a gift certificate this past Christmas for a nice date night out. The gift card was put in an envelope so we didn 't even think about looking at the specifics. After a decent meal (Not many other German options available around here), we took the certificate out to pay. It expired THREE months after it was issued (paid for in cash March 2024). The owner with red/fiery hair was extremely rude and abrasive to us. She loudly said NO, I will not accept this . The meal was decent. Great German restaurant! I haven’t been to many authentic German restaurants but this one is. The food was fantastic and our waitress was very nice. The owner came over to make sure everything was good. First time having spaetzle and I loved it. I also loved the dumplings and thought the mushroom gravy was delicious. The star of the experience was definitely the Apple Strudel, that was amazing.
