"For my main course, I ordered the NY Steak, which had a tender, filet-like texture. It was well-presented alongside polenta and sauce, making for an appealing dish. The fish and chips were also quite good, although the fish was slightly overcooked, which has happened to me at other restaurants that serve fish and chips. I politely mentioned this, and the staff corrected it to my satisfaction. Mistakes don’t ruin my experience as long as they're handled well, and they certainly did. I enjoyed trying a few different IPAs and was pleased with the selection, which was larger and more varied than I remembered. Since beer preferences are very subjective, I’ll leave it to you to decide if you’d like to visit Kalona Brewing Company. Cheers!"

"The food was great. Tasteful, hot, it was 5 stars. I gave 4 stars because the lady who took our order was super insulted that my husband and I wanted to share a drink. She didn't want to sell us a drink if I didn't have two. I didn't do anything about having both of us. I had gastric surgery. My stomach holds a cup of food. Sometimes I smell his drink, but I can't even drink myself. My husband eats 3/4 of our food for the same reason. It was delicious, but we probably won't be back because no stock policy."

"After researching restaurants in Kolona, we felt that these Italian steakhous astonishing reviews would be a great place to take friends on our trip. The atmosphere is very welcoming and our waitress very attentive... However, there was a pasta dish on the whole menu and when we ordered it, the waitress told us that they do not have the ingredients to make it. Interesting that it is called an Italian steakhouse with a pasta dish. So 3 of us ordered the high-picked pork steak that the Parmesan chicken... after a few bites that ALL recognized by us that the meat was unusable. It was like someone had put all the salt shakers on the meat. I love salt, but that was terrible. I'm not one to complain to the waitress was so excited about the pig I hated to say something. She apologised, seemed surprised and then took the price of 2 meals... completely not what we intended. So, my suggestion is, when you go here, make sure that the cook did not pour on the salt day as it was terrible."
