"After researching restaurants in Kolona, we felt that these Italian steakhous astonishing reviews would be a great place to take friends on our trip. The atmosphere is very welcoming and our waitress very attentive... However, there was a pasta dish on the whole menu and when we ordered it, the waitress told us that they do not have the ingredients to make it. Interesting that it is called an Italian steakhouse with a pasta dish. So 3 of us ordered the high-picked pork steak that the Parmesan chicken... after a few bites that ALL recognized by us that the meat was unusable. The decor was very nice, but you can't decorate. Dinner was extremely slow on the table between each course. Entree was overhauled and Luke warm. Drove 60 minutes to get there. Save the gas. Very disappointed.

Had the Tuscan shrimp for lunch. It came with boiler chips. The burger itself was juicy and had a great garlic finish. If they offer fries or a salad to go with the burger, the chips fell a bit short. Cream Brulee was great.

We had the best experience we had last weekend at the Tuscan Moon. All of our food, our drinks and our service was impeccable. We recommend this place to everyone we know. What a hidden jewel to find in Kalona. Shout to Tatum to be the best waitress ever. She was welcoming, knowledgeable, confident and attentive. I can't say enough about our experience. You can pay more for your food here, but it's worth it. My husband had the lamb dogs, and I had the rib. We both were amazed at how delicious our food was. The dessert was the cherry upstairs. Tatum even drank pairings with our dessert that were perfect. If you are looking for the perfect date night, do not look further. Here you have to go!!...
