"During our visit to the restaurant, the server accidentally spilled drinks on our table, causing a mess on my clothes and the floor. As I was picking ice cubes out of my bag, I was disappointed as it was my son's birthday. The manager apologized and removed the cost of the burgers from our bill, reducing it from nearly $80 to $55. Unfortunately, the waiter confessed to having a similar incident earlier and seemed a bit confused. I suggested that he should go home, which was ridiculous. Later, the manager had to break up a fight between two female employees, one of whom he had been talking to just moments before. The situation escalated to the point where the police and ambulance were called...

Six of us went for a light dinner after a show. We shared appetizers, all of which were super! My brother had a salad (arugula, red and yellow beets, pistachios and creme fraiche) which he declared the best he'd ever eaten. Very pleasant, welcoming and helpful staff. The only thing missing was a glass of wine and a few beers... it's BYO, which we didn't realize.

We arrived at the restaurant around 1pm on a Sunday. The restaurant was nearly empty. The service was prompt, but the food was not up to par. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with broccoli, but the broccoli had mold on it. My daughter ordered chicken and shrimp Alfredo, but it lacked seasoning. The waitress was argumentative when we brought up the issue with the broccoli. Overall, this restaurant is inconsistent with its food and service quality - it's a hit or miss.

"This was my first visit to any Famous Dave 's. I walked in on a Tuesday evening through the To Go door- which I might add is a genius idea! You can order at a counter and wait for your food, order online or over the phone and pick it up through this entrance. To the right is the hostess stand for those patrons that will be dining in. Everyone was very pleasant when I walked in. I was greeted by a young man (maybe HS/early college age). He greeted me and asked if he could take my order- when I told him I 've never been here before and was looking for recommendations- he appeared to be excited to share the menu and walk me through the most popular items. I eventually decided on the 2- meat combo (pictured) choosing the Famous Ribs Pulled Pork accompanied by 2 sides (coleslaw mashed potatoes), and all meals finish with a Corned Bread muffin. If you look at the picture you can tell I was eager to jump in prior to taking a picture. The Ribs- the best I 've had in a LONG time- they fell off the bone, were perfectly smoked and could taste in each bite. The pulled pork was cooked very well- with just enough juice, spices, and BBQ sauce. The often forgotten- sides...The coleslaw was a creamy coleslaw- which is my preference and was very good. I 'm not a huge mashed potato fan, but thought I would give them a shot- I was not let down- they were really tasty. Rounding out this incredible meal was one of the better cornbread muffins I 've had. It wasn 't dry at all- very tasty. Overall, if you are in the Waldorf area and are a fan of BBQ I would highly recommend Dave 's Bar-B-Que. I only got a glimpse of the dine-in restaurant, but from what I saw, it looked very clean, well put together, well decorated, and an overall great ambiance for any group of people."
