"Best Thai food on the island, besides Fasay Thai Wagon in Kahuku. HOWEVER, I will make the drive all the way to Kahuku instead of going up the street to Thai Village in Waipio or possibly try the other locations because the service there is completely disrespectful. All of the times I 've dined in and ordered take out, the ladies at the front who also serve guests, have rude mannerisms and attitude. When I 've ordered items that are on the menu for takeout, they have told me I can just make it at home lol. I 've tried to order that same thing when I dined in, and was told they don 't have it, but that 's several times now so if it 's no longe available it could be specified so on the menu....

My husband and I stopped at Thai Village on a cold, rainy day for chicken pho. The broth was good. The portion was huge and very filling. The price was reasonable $15.95). Our server was friendly and service was good. We hadn’t been to Thai Village since pre-pandemic times, so we would like to go back to try some of our favorite dishes better shared with friends so we can try multiple dishes). If you like Thai food, give Thai Village a try.

"Busy busy busy is what this place is haha. There was a line outside on a Friday morning, and even longer lines when lunch hour was approaching! Note: If you order online, make sure it's for the day and time you want. I tried to place an online order but the order wouldn't be ready till 2 days later lol so that's why I had to go in in person to order my food! However, the line moved at a decent speed. I think I waited for maybe 20 mins? Once I got to the counter, the service was very quick as there were a lot of staff working together for different section of the counter. What should you get? That's the big question as there are so so many things to choose from. I highly recommend their shrimp stick with sauce (without sauce would be fine too) as that was one of the most delicious shrimp thing I've had! You won't regret it. For the poke, I loved their furikake salmon and the ahi limu. The fish was fatty and smooth without the chewy tendons. Both flavors were seasoned well without being too salty. However, I would avoid their wasabi miso tako (octopus) and their sesame tako as well. They're both overly sweet that they tasted kind of disgusting. The tako also wasn't very tender. I couldn't finish it. The is a place where locals and tourists go which explains why it's so busy! It's definitely NOT a hype. It's legit. If you're in Waipahu, do yourself a favor and give it a shot if you haven't tried it yet!"
