"This is Denny's of Alaska. Breakfast all day long but fish themed because it's In the Kenai peninsula. Food: Given we ordered burgers with fries but there was nothing special about them. If you are looking for a good burger then I would still recommend this joint. Service: We were greeted and seated very quickly. However, she sat is at a high table and gave us a high chair that was really short. Our 2 year old couldn't see over the table. We had to ask to be moved. She was great after that though. I'm visiting Soldotna for a couple days and I've really enjoyed my meals at The Catch. The portions are huge and the staff are very friendly. The halibut fish and chips were fantastic and I could only finish half because the pieces were so large. My favorite part of their menu is the homemade bread that they serve with each meal. I liked it so much that I came back for breakfast to order their French toast.

Comfort food! Traditional American comfort food. They also serve breakfast all day. I love breakfast! We were there on a Monday just driving around stopped in Soldotna for lunch. It's very big inside and it has a nice atmosphere and a good setup. The portions are fairly big. I was only able to finish half my roast beef. My partner got a burger. It was pretty big and he could only finish half of his as well.

Had the halibut sandwich and grilled salmon with mashed potatoes, gravy, and steamed broccoli. Our waitress was super sweet and nice. She was on top of drink refills and always had the sweetest smile on her face. The salmon was cooked perfectly, mashed potatoes were silky, and the gravy was unique with flavor, but it was super delicious. Definitely not your basic restaurant. I would go to this restaurant again!
