"I usually don't write reviews, but my experience at the Island Mermaid was outstanding. Between the food, the service, and the view it was amazing. The server was this beautiful polite blonde, I think her name was Laura not sure. She was awesome, everything was done in a timely fashion and she kept the drinks coming and checked on our table frequently. My friend and I split the fried calamari for an appetizer which was to die for, cooked perfectly golden and crispy seasoned just right.
