"We were a party of 5 for dinner on a Saturday night. Our waitress was very pleasant and explaned that there is a new menu. Everyone seemed pleased with their food orders. I ordered one of the new menu items, braised short ribs. It was delicious! The meat was extremely tender and the sides complemented it well. Our table requested seperate checks and there was one small mix up. It was quickly corrected to our satisfaction. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience."

The place was empty at 12:30 P.M. except for one other table. The brunch menu was extensive with some good choices and fair prices. Unfortunately, the food was barely warm when it was served. Had it been hot/warm when brought to our table, it would have been great.

Made a reservation in the car as we heading to the restaurant, but when we arrived 15 mins later, they were closed. The least they could have do was pick up the phone and call saying sorry, but we are closed or closing. To the date of this review no one has called with any kind of apology.

Service from Spike was great and the atmosphere was good. The food was very underwhelming and overpriced. We really want to support this restaurant as we always have great food at the Rec Room but their expertise in barroom fair does not translate to the higher end dining experience they seem to be attempting in the Tavern.
