"we have been to two birds one stone several times. I was thrown away this last time a little bit when the waitress kept us from the order because she said that eating comes too fast and that we should now submit an order for a few things, and then order again after we have eaten a little. this is the first time I've ever been stopped by the order. Usually it is the waitress or the kitchen to look at our order and do everything so that it does not come immediately. the other strange thing was the waitress did not really seem to know how to serve wein, or simply skipped the label to have someone taste before they all pour glasses. she also has not even pour the wine for us (or even check). good experience with great service. cocktails were delicious. very large. but very empty, so ambiance ended a bit strange. it felt strange and when we were away at 9:30 a.m., only one busboy was there to say goodbye. just a little funny dinner. would try again.

I loved everything about it. the place was beautiful, a large open space with high deck and rock walls with upward lighting that gave this soft touch, very welcoming and attentive staff. they also have a big wine selection. the food was excellent. it was a family-style divided plates, parts were exactly right. we ordered almost everything on the menu. the only part for me was the coffee. they don't use hot coffee, only nitro roast coffee, which is cold coffee. I wish there was an option for the non-cold coffee mackerel.

"Wow! This is probably the best looking market I had. It is BEAUTIFUL inside, especially at night. I just love it! I almost felt not worthy to go inside. I asked if I needed a reservation to eat there. But her hospitality is wonderful. They brought me in and let me sit where I ever wanted, even though I was alone. The lighting is perfect and the view of the stone walls and the mirrored bar would be “Oooo” anyone. The menu was on a classic clipboard, somehow like one you would store your shopping list. It's cool. Prices seemed a bit on the high side, but I can reasonably see why. IT’s GOOD STUFF! You have a fresh seafood bar, a 4-course dinner every evening and great main dishes. If your look for a place to your beautiful on a date, this is the place. If you leave this place at night, you can see the restaurant name that is shaded on the cement. “SWEET!” was my impression. I definitely want to go back."

"We dined al fresco for dinner. The chairs were comfortable, but the general seating area could benefit from more lighting or ambience. We waited at least 15 minutes and had to alert the hostess that our table had not been served. The service was very slow. I ordered a dirty martini, but it was served in a gimlet glass instead of a martini glass like the other tables. The food was good, but not exceptional. Perhaps it was just an off night. As we were only visiting, we would not be returning. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

We worked on a project in napa and Our first time visited St.Helena Bistro for lunch we were so insulted and unhappy that I decided to leave a negative review here. what was so careless that we were willing to order, and the person standing behind the checkout didn't even bother to let servers come and take our order, and he shouts loudly what you want, and we had to very disregard our order The prices are very high, if we could have gone to a much more beautiful place for these unpaid, we would never go back."

"I only would maybe recommend it. The service was good but the wine service only fair. We ordered a 150 bottle of red wine , and it came ice cold . For a restaurant in the wine country this was unacceptable. Needless to say it took an hour to get to a better temperature even though we asked for a decanter . The food is along the lines of a steakhouse , sides need to be ordered extra . The chicken was very good but it came by itself for 25.00 . The trout also was very nice but only with a decoration of small greens on top 32.00 . We asked for a side of small red peppers , and they would have been great if they had not been charred black on one side . Not edible and we had to scrape it off. Same with the sunchokes we ordered , only the inside was edible. While some people might like all this charred food , we did not ."
