"Came in yesterday 7/24 The lady there was very nice seems like she was the only one working counter still remained with a good attitude and very tentative.I order two rib snack dinner and the food was disgusting the ribs were tuff and seemed like we was giving the last left in the pan hard flat bone pieces. The macaroni and cheese was by far the worst tasting I had ever had. I had Uptown BBQ for Mother's Day, ribs, fried chicken wings, mac and cheese, and bake beans, and I don't have any complaints. Uptown has great customer service and good portion sizes. They have the best BBQ Sauce, which is finger licking good!!

Throw the whole restaurant away! Poor customer service, orders wrong and not worth the hassle or money. It's sad when even the Detroit Police were in there and the service was poor for them as well. The lady in front of me didn't get her pop. The man in front of her was missing wings. I waited over 20 minutes for 1/4 dark chicken, shrimp and fries only to receive white meat. I waited so long, I ordered a rib and chicken combo only for the server and cashier to go back and forth about the meals and sides being included. This is definitely not the Uptown of the 80s. ??
