"tonight must have been a night. in the rule we enjoy this restaurant. tonight was not one of those times. we waited an hour for our food. our drinks were not good. we were lined at a table that was too small for our party. but the most disappointing thing was that the workers made us feel like we were disturbing them. we give him another shot before we mark him from the list"

"Our server was great. Food and drinks came quickly. That said, that's where we stopped being impressed. Drinks were terrible and the food wasn't much better. Brisket taquitos were dry and lacked flavor. The person bussing tables came by twice asking to take my son's plate. We said both times that he was still working on it. The third time she came by and took it without asking. We were underwhelmed by the overall experience after being excited to see the place so full on arainy weekday. With so many other Mexican options nearby I doubt we'll be back."

"Long time since I'd had BBQ and first time customer craving Barbecue met employees Brittany and Blake they'd mentioned the best item was the menu was their brisket and especially the brisket burnt ends a special offered on Fridays. My mouth began to water so I phoned in a takeout order for the sampler dinner (see menu), a variety of different sides and choice of meats (rib tips, brisket)to choose from, a great representation of savory items to get acquainted with what Smokin' Gold BBQ had to offer. Rebecca greated me at the register front counter also raved about the burnt ends so I ordered the burnt ends extra with my order. The sides were great, beans, coleslaw, macaroni w/cheese, pickles, potatoe salad etc., and Texas toast. The brisket to my surprise was shredded instead of sliced and the rib tips were sliced as well. The Brisket burnt ends were tender and grilled to perfection. All meat had great flavor. The only disappointment was there was excess of fat not enough burnt ends meat. Other than that the experience was one I expect to revisit in the future."
