"Viet Noms is a wonderful Vietnamese cuisine restaurant hidden in Livermore around a small plaza. I hunted Vietnamese food with my friends and we came across this restaurant on Yelp. Parking was free and super easy as it is in a place. Once we came in, the restaurant is really spacious and has many stands for 4 people and tables for larger size parties! The waiter asks first what you want to drink. Unfortunately hot tea has an additional cost, wish it was free. I ordered a Rice Vermicelli Bowl as it comes cold and is my favorite dish because of the Nuoc-Mam fish sauce that goes so well with noodles and chicken meats and vegetables. My friend ordered a pho with beef and the soup was delicious...

The portions at this restaurant are very generous, especially when it comes to noodles. The bun rieu serving could have easily been split into 2-3 portions in Vietnam. I really liked it, although I can't compare it to the original taste. It could have had a stronger crab flavor. The banh khot was decent and had a nice texture.

The review focuses on critiquing the food service at the restaurant, rather than the interior decor, which is deemed as satisfactory but not exceptional. The appetizers, including Papaya Salad, Imperial Roll, Salad Roll with Shrimp, and Pork Sandwiches with Jalapeños, were all delicious. The Tomato soup with crab and chicken pho were also well-received. The food was excellent, particularly praised for its generous amount of mung sprouts and fresh herbs.

"My wife chose this place, from a host of nice eateries in and around Livermore town centre, which we have been visiting for a while, to invest in the local economy. We wanted to go some place we haven 't been before. So Nick the Greek 's it was. The place is well presented, a nice covered, off road, outside eating area, and a spacious clean, modern inside eating area, with comfortable seating. The Gyros (Yee-ros) were some of the best we 've had in California. The classic lamband beef one was excellent, and the chicken one was fantastic. We went for the combo which meant you could have fries and drink, or fries and salad or salad and a drink. The green salad was well dressed in olive oil, salt and pepper.Simple, but so tasty when you actually want to taste the lettuce. The Gyros themselves were well put together with a bit of salad and not one sign of the pitta being soaked through with too much runny sauce. It courageously stayed togetheruntil the last couple of mouthfuls. And talking of mouthfuls, make sure you come hungry . The portions are generously meaty and the REAL potato fries were top notch and well seasoned. My wife and I know the food was good, because we didn 'ttalk to each other for a few minutes and we didn 't realise we had stopped talking. To top the main off, we also ordered the beignets as a small dessert, which we shared. I know there are five in the picture I posted, but I couldn 't wait, and ate one before I realised I hadn 't taken a picture. So yes, you get six of them, freshly fried, light, smothered in flavoured honey syrup and topped with nuts. The smell was amazing. The taste; even better. The service was excellent, youorder at the counter, pay and then collect your drinks from the machine and the server will bring your meal to the table you chose to sit at. Good, friendly service. They actually offered to delay making our beignets until we 'd finished ourGyros. And then they brought them out, freshly made. Little touches like that mean a"
