"We were just passing through town and I googled best lunch restaurants near me This place popped up and I'm glad I read the reviews about not being scared away by it being in a gas station. It's true there's no where to sit (as posted in other reviews) we just opened the back of the truck and sat under a shady spot in the parking lot. The food was really good. I'm glad we checked it out! Reasonably priced, too."

"I wanted to treat my mother, my grandmother's sister for a special dinner to celebrate my mother's 50th birthday. I had some dig online to find some nice restaurants and came across Katya. Words can not describe how amazing my experience was to discuss my first call to them my reservation, the whole way to say goodbye on our way. Katya, her sweet parents The boss has completely exceeded our expectations. Kathryn helped me, our dinner with a beautiful handwritten birthday card, sparkles at the table, and a delicious bottle of wine and cheese board awaits us at our table. I am always grateful to her and her family for making so much effort to feel my mother so special. We will definitely be back for more! Thank you very much! If you? "This place serves Italian slushies, not Italian ice. Very disappointing for almost $9 for two smalls. Pirate Ice in Clermont beats out both Rita’s and Jeremiah’s as far as Italian ice goes."

"CONS: We were pretty excited to try this place out...what a let down. We felt like maybe our waitress didn't want us as a table? She hardly came to us, and left us for long stretches. After we ordered, we heard the table next to us(a different waitress) get offered a special appetizer. We would have loved to order that. AND they were offered Swordfish and a duck special, that we would have also ordered if we had known about it. Plus, she asked us if we wanted her to bring more bread, and we said sure. She never came back again until we received our dinners, with no bread. She left us for so long between stretches, that I gave her my credit card before any mention of the bill, because we didn't want to have to wait for fifteen minutes for her to bring the bill to the table. It was still quit a long wait. PROS: What we ordered was pretty good. My husband got the short ribs, which were a little fatty, but tasted very good. I ordered the Sorrentino veal, which tasted great. The food itself was not the problem."

"A very consistent staple in downtown Ocala. Brunch at La Cuisine is uncontested the best experience around. Unlimited mimosas for two house for only $15. They always have specials that are creative and delicious. Today I had a chorizo, poblano pepper, queso frescos, corn relish omelet topped with crème fraîche. We also tried the other special which was a fruit and yogurt parfait with fresh salad. Yogurt was on the tart side not sweet for those wanted to try it. Others in our party had two variations of their French toast. One with berries and the other with caramel and marscapone. We had pork belly for and appetizer fresh baguettes and butter. My fiancé had the eggs Benedict with pork belly and spinach. They provided a complimentary chocolate mousse for her birthday they was extremely fluffy and delicious. Thanks again for always being the best and being consistently a place we want to visit."
