"I really want to recommend this place and get it bumped up the list of top restaurants in Badenweiler, not least because it is German in a town full of Italian restaurants (why??? Good hearty dishes, massive portions, traditional decor. They also have a menu in English which is a bonus. I am suitably embarrassed by my terrible 'O ' Level German and deserve to struggle with my 'Gutedelrahmsuppe ' and 'tannengerauchter schwarzwalder schinken 's but it was a relief to be handed a full translation!"

We haven't visited this restaurant since 2016. The place is changing and not in a good direction. We eat twice and tTwice we didn't wait to finish the salad and bring the main dish. A new team of 3 people who do the same job as the previous lady, but less efficient. The place is no longer a beautiful worm restaurant, but a dining area. Less people than before

Probably the best insider tip in the city you can get. The food is seasonal, delicious and in good portions. But above comes the price: The couple next to us just wanted to pay as we arrived and one of them asked the service to bring them the review for both because they thought that the price on the check could be only for one of them.
