"My friend and I were craving for some savory food after our spa, and she really wanted to eat Spicy Galbi Jjim (Braised Oxtail n Ribs) badly so we visited Yangji Gamjatang. It's our first visit and surprising this place wasn't too busy during dinner time. We were immediately serviced and given all the banchan. The place is pretty small but it felt homey like a small family owned business. The vibes it gives off felt welcoming. The Spicy Galbi Jjim is a MUST TRY here! They serve it piping hot and if you get it with cheese... be amazed when they torch the cheese. It's a full spectacle and fun to watch. It's my first time actually eating this dish so I was high with expectations and it did not d...

This hot Bimbimbap is the best so far that makes me feel like im in the mother country of korea eating the korean grandma cooking for me at home. Everything with this food texture is perfect and food is clean. But the pork kimchee soup is very disappointed because too much kimchee cabbage in the soup when i asked for extra pork, less kimchee and i got only four tofu cubes. It costed $45 plus tips for both soup and bibimap!!! Should i come back again? No i dont think so. Double price for soup and bibimap???

Ate here because my gf and I wanted some army stew and we haven’t tried it before. Army stew was plain, but the bibimbap we had is the reason why I rated this 2 stars and not one. The owner was a lady, and I went to go pay. I already left a small tip on the table to be polite but she insisted I pay a higher percentage tip. I was confused, because I’m not obligated to tip, but I still did but she wanted me to tip more. Without causing a scene or getting upset I tipped more and left and will not go back. There was little to no service and she still expected more.
