"Living in CA most of my life so I really didn't think Sushi in AZ would be good. To my surprise, this place has many really delicious snacks! I had the Lion King role that BOMB was! The tempura was really crispy and the tempura sauce is its own special concoction. I also need to meet the owners Teresa and John. Teresa was next to us at the table and I heard her training one of her people. I was really impressed how well they train their employees by creating a friendly atmosphere by stimulating their work ethics. John brought out our food and he was an absolute joy. I had a great experience during my first visit to this restaurant today! I enjoyed the veggie tempura, a delicious miso soup, and a special roll that was both hot and tasty. The restaurant is clean, service is fast, and I believe it offers the best Asian cuisine in the Tempe City Marketplace. John provided excellent recommendations and overall, I love this place and will definitely return soon!
