"My Aunt passed away on Saturday morning, I reached out to Mike at Joe’s Tavern on Saturday night in the middle of his dinner service and he responded immediately. We asked for a pretty big catering service on short notice. Not only did they accomplish the task, they knocked it out of the park!! The food was great, their service was great and the compassion and professionalism they showed towards my family was phenomenal!! I highly recommend everyone choose Joe’s Tavern!"

"Eating was terrible! Mac n cheese was tasteless. The chicken Alfredo was best moderate. The homemade pasta in the Newburg sauce was boiled badly and all clad together. The only way you could separate was that it was cut. Service: 2/5"

"Excellent local business. We stopped in for the first time today and the experience was great. The staff is friendly, helpful and entertaining. The service was fast and accurate. Most importantly the food was delicious and a superior value. I got a chicken parmesan sub and friends got the torpedoes. We were all very pleased with our orders. My wife particularly enjoyed the potato salad. We will definitely make it a point to come here again. Update: This continues to be one of our favorite local spots. Fast , friendly service at a great price and a quality product. Love you guys."

"We were seeing a show at the Hangar on the Hudson across the street. We decided to stop in at the Ale House for an early dinner and drinks. What a great idea that turned out to be. The staff at this neighborhood bar are friendly and helpful. The menu is simple. We went with the specials. I had the blacked chicken sandwich, my wife the turkey BLT. It was inexpensive and the food was great. A nice selection of craft beer (draft and cans) as well as your standards. If you're in the area, definitely drop in."

"Hands down my favorite pizza place in Cohoes! The only reason I deducted one star was that they do not have garlic knots. To their credit, they have garlic breads and garlic sticks but for whatever reason the kiddos just like their dough drenched in garlic sauce and knotted. "
