"the Bavarian restaurant is not only known for the beer and the octoberfest and serves the most traditional home cooking. very large portions of tasty and tasty Bavarian sausages, sour worts and kartoffels. the gay are the best. good! the vegetarian choice tries the cheese, it is a mountain cheese from the alps. the suppe was excellent and the beer...last but not least always the best beer in Germany. the service is friendly as most in southern Germany and the price was affordable given the great portion and the wonderful taste!"

when entering the waiter it was fast with a children's menu and drawing dinge. the children enjoyed their time there and also the parents. nice eating, inexpensive and relaxed atmosphere.

we ate here twice while we were in berlin and both were great. eating is well prepared and the service is friendly and efficient. there is a beautiful terrace when they are there in summer. try it anyway!

recommend this small, cozy, local, friendly, first class restaurant halfway to bornholmer street. delicious, well cooked, homemade cuisine. excellent quality, substantially and tasty. Relaxed and quiet, warm and cozy, cheerful and good service plus great beer....and very cheap. Bavarian dishes. not for. vegan or vegetarian, I think, although the veggie options on the menu sound substantial and tasty. train connections very simple: bornholmer street or Schonhauser allee.
