"The customer service was excellent. I placed a take out order and the greeter and server were very polite and kind. I really did appreciate that, considering that it was my first time trying their pizza. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza and it was awesome. It was still warm wgen I got home. The pizza joint is diamond in the rough. I truly enjoy my pizza to last slice. I will definitely be coming back for more."

"As an Aiken local I’ve always loved and supported our small family owned businesses before chains. As of late it’s difficult to support any business of any kind. Grumpys included. We’ve never waited to be seated. We’ve always had decent service. The restaurant is as clean as any other. The atmosphere isn’t bad. But…..the signs everywhere (even right at the front door!! about how your service will be and basically telling customers before they even get welcomed in of “this is how it’s going to be” attitude is disgusting. The comments on the menu of how people’s food will be cooked to temp and not color. If I don’t want my food color pink…..why can’t you deal with that??? I’m paying. Also, I’ve never smelled or tasted fish in my non seafood food before until recently. The fries, cheese sticks, whole meal stunk of fish and tasted like so. Due to this my family will not be returning. So gross!!! Keep the seafood and non seafood separate."

"I went here to get dinner the other night. It was a huge , dirty dog inside the restaurant walking up to customers. The bartender got the dog’s attention and the dog went into the kitchen with the cooks . Disgusting I immediately asked for a refund and left . I will never go back here again. Why would a dog be in a place where people come to eat . Please don’t ever eat here too"

"Came here on 7/6 for lunch and only one gentleman seemed to actually be working as a server. Our actual server took 15 minutes for a bottled beer, left all empty cups and appetizer plates on the table (we actually had to ask her to take them away when the food came out). My steak taco was cold, and came out 10 mins before my husbands, and his was also cold. The hostess sat at the bar on her phone the whole hour we were there while another waitress accompanied her. Typically I wouldn’t say anything about employees sitting down, but a 2 top came in and they had to wait because the “bar was full” and it was full by employees… we had a 30 minute wait with open tables because the kitchen was backed up, again, perfectly ok, but just all around the service and food wasn’t what we were expecting. My steak taco was just steak cut up with an aioli on it and a cold tortilla. Wasn’t even folded closed. But A+ to the gentleman that was working lunch shift that was making sure his tables were taken care of!"

"The manager and waitress went out of their way to help accommodate my 89 year old mother. We have a trandition to take her here to eat for Christmas every year. She has been isolated since covid began and has only been out a few times for doctors appointments. The manager found us a spot completely away from everyone. The waitress was so sweet. My momma truly enjoyed every moment and mouthful. Thank you so much for making this a great memory! Merry Christmas to you all!"

"Hostess was very accommodating to our needs, as I informed her that one of our party would be needing to leave for the airport. she provided us with seating and in an area that she believed we would be able to have our order taken the quickest. This was very effective as the waitress we received was very capable and again very accommodating to our short time available. Our drinks never went below half our glass, and our food was delicious and came quickly."

"I only give this 2 stars because there is one young woman who is very pleasant each time I come in. She always describes the menu and lets me know the specials!! However, there is an older lady that works there, who I've constantly had bad experiences with, as well as another friend. My last encounter with her has left a bad taste in my mouth. When I started to order my coffee, the older lady immediately turned around and poured whole milk in my cup. She didn't wait for me to tell her the flavor or if I even wanted the drink hot!!!!! It was demeaning and DISRESPECTFUL, to say the least. I took the drink, walked away, and threw it in the trash. I would prefer to lose $10 than deal with her ever again. Customer service can make or break a restaurant. This lady has broken it for me!!! I will not recommend this establishment again."

"Jason Willis and I usually don't discuss service because we understand that everyone can have an off day, especially since we both work in customer service. However, we couldn’t help but rave about the young man who took our order—he made us smile and laugh the entire time! At first, we misread his expression as a sign that our experience might not be great, but he definitely proved us wrong. While we waited for our food, he cheerfully held a large bucket and took our order at the same time. When another customer walked in, he greeted her warmly and made his way to take her order with genuine enthusiasm. Unfortunately, he faced a bit of rudeness from an employee—likely a manager given her red shirt—who yelled at him, questioning whether Calvin's priorities were more important than those of the customers. Having worked in fast food before, I understand the pace can be intense, but there’s no excuse for being disrespectful to colleagues who are doing their best and keeping a positive attitude! This young man is truly going places, and Jason and I are grateful to have met him tonight. He brought joy to every customer he served and clearly showed he cares about great customer service beyond just earning a paycheck. So, we want to give a huge shoutout to Calvin for his outstanding customer service! I even posted this review on my Facebook along with a picture."

"I visited this location yesterday, 6/8/22, and I was very pleased with my experience. The customer service was exceptional. The person who took my order was incredibly patient, especially since my daughter couldn't decide what to order. I apologized for the delay, but she reassured me it was fine and encouraged us to take our time. The food was fresh, and the fries were too hot to eat right away! I wish all places offered service like this. Kudos to Wendy's on Whiskey Rd! I'll definitely be back. Thank you, ladies!"

Go to Betsy’s on the corner. yes step back in time to the 50s and early 60s music playing in the background motif of the restaurant is amazing. Then you meet the most energetic happy waitresses and waiters who greet you with hello darling. You need to try some of the appetizers like the fried green tomatoes and the permit a cheese on Pita bread. After that I would suggest one of their crafted hamburgers absolutely delicious but don’t leave before you have a slice of strawberry cake. A true five out of five restaurant."

"Parking is a bit of an issue. Parking is in the grass behind the restaurant, with an uphill walk in gravel to get to the entrance. Ordering is kind of unique. You select the size of the plastic container you want then choose your main entries and rice. The staff are pleasant, paitent and helpful. Now for the good part, the food. They have an assortment of curries, and soups. Chicken and pork are the meats. No beef. I'm very glad to say was very good. I had two curries and both were real good. I will hold off saying it was the best I ever had, but it was right up there. My wife had wonton soup and egg rolls. She commented that soup was the best she had ever had. Prices are reasonable. For the amount of food and the flavor, this is definitely a place worth trying. With all the boxes checked, this place rates high. If you like Thai curries, this place should be on your list."

"Great little place for chicken. The lady in the front was really kind and helped me and my indecisive self choose what I wanted (which just ended up being chicken fingers. The chicken was honestly pretty dry and flavorless but when I tried my brother’s chicken thighs, that was juicy and delicious. Definitely recommend thighs or legs more than my fingers."

"Even though KFC tells you to call and order ahead, this is one of the few KFC's that will actually let you do that. Most of the others will refuse to take your order over the phone. Others will say to place your order online. Their online menu with Grubhub is non functional and it only has a small portion of their full menu. Many of the other KFC's never have any specials especially the ones in the Greenville,SC area. This location always has good pricing, great specials and pretty friendly and efficient staff. My favorite KFC location in South Carolina."
