"Bad service, rude waiter. Looks like cost German place but seemsto be. tourist trap. For sure foreign tourists are treated as ****, To Germans or were it his friends super friendly. Id only they had to pay his wage...I speak German fluently as I studied...for year in Germany but to know all culinary terms.. I asked several questions like “ what is meerettich”’; horesradish or “ what is exactly bamberger oder nuernberger wurst”. Then the waiter explained tall darkhaired glasses but never offered us to bring us the English menu and I know see from other reviews he had actually one. When we wantes to order “wein schorrle” again on a patronising tone told us that thus was just rubbish a mix of water and some cheap wine. So we ordered a glass of real wine. Food was brought and we told the children to say “danke” but they said he is throwing the plates without him saying bitte. I had to agre with them despite the fact that we wanted to show them what good education is. I hope this waiter is not what the standard Bamberger stands for... we went to eat today to “Little italy” great food service and waitress was Italian. She deserved her “trinkgeld” especially as she didn’t refer to it herself as some other German waiters did. Because we are tourists? Conclusion: don’t go there certainly not a a foreign tourist it is “Germans first service” close to xenofobic"

"comesish with friends in the garden, from us drink different beers, wein, whisky or alcohol-free. the selection of food was great. a fusion of Asian and German. difficult to choose what will be their meal. I had a summer viggar roll, easily fritted with many sweets in the inner and tasty and perfect for a starter. then the very helpful server suggested half a part for my hornle with sweet and cocos milk sauce. it had a bowl of rice on the side, but kartoffel and rice seem to be a little too much carb for me. the horns are small bamberg kartoffeln and were very good. I also liked the fact that the meal remained hot all the time that I ate it, which meant that I never had to worry about the fasting. I also had a wine splash that was very tasty with a beautiful fruit taste, and light on the alcohol, tho I ended up with an acute feeling despite the meal. I also tried the smoker beer, and it was really good to have a kind of sweeter or heavier chocolate-like taste, and while it was not something I would like to drink a whole flask, the small glass size was good. I had only one taste of a friend and he liked it too. they also had a large selection of whisky, one of the whiskytrinkers really liked. the fusion was enjoyed by all, tho the veggie with ananas choice was a little mad after a diner, but otherwise the meal really enjoyed."

"the beer garden was opened, unfortunately you have forgotten to adapt the ambiente. it lacks plants, deco and beautiful design of the children's playground. only bierbänke are set up. also can be seen entrances to warehouses unmistakably recognizable for the guests. also negatiw lacks that the managing director always sits with an ice cream incl. vodka or champagner in front of the restaurant with friends, which does not make a professional impression. the personal is no longer as flash as before, it was quickly set unskilled staff. the service deficiencies are clearly recognizable, please simply introduce learned staff! the price structure of the menu is very questionable, on the one hand calamari for 14 euro on the other side currywurst for 6.50 euro. I guess this was wrongly calculated that a court too expensive. the other relatiw inexpensive. akademiker would make more sense, so live and live in the mountain area of bamberg many academics. a specialization on fish feeds would generate you a monopole position in bamberg, even the unicorn cellar already has a grill in the beer garden! desserts makes the cook occasionally, unfortunately, those are not on the menu of repeated criticism! the prices have recently been around approx. 1 euro per food raised, unfortunately I do not recognize any more value. in the opposite: the courts were smaller, the service and the ambiente worse! Please take the critique to heart!"

"I staggered up the hill to St Michael's Church on a cold March morning in Bamberg, only to find the interior closed for safety reasons and everything else pretty much closed as well. Disappointed, and in need of refreshment (and a convenience I literally stumbled...across this great little cafe nearby. It's not huge, but the interior is fresh (I understand that it is newly opened) and comfortable. Nicely decorated with what looked like some handmade items for children. Owner and her father very pleasant and welcoming. The menu is not vast and clearly not intended to be. The intention seems to be to concentrate on both non-alcoholic alcoholic drinks and a selection of home-made (and delicious cakes. I needed a coffee and my goodness I think that it was best coffee to date in Germany! So good I had two! I wish that my German was better as I would have loved to have chatted to the owner and found out a bit more about the place. As long as you are aware of its limitations it's just a coffee shop cafe and doesn't pretend to be anything more than that you won't be disappointed. I rate Cafezimmer as excellent and at some point I'll be back. In the interim I wish the owners all the best!"

"It was our second time in this restaurant because we like their wide selection of beer. You also have a smoke beer that doesn't taste like ham. The food was very good and they have high quality products. For the first time we had steaks, for which the prices were good, for the second time we had one of the rye kings (type of flatbread with toppings), who was very good, then we also had a baked potato with salmon. The potato was nothing special, which was a little disappointing, but they put a lot of salmon on it, so everything was good in everything. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and from some tables you can see the brewers. What I didn't like was the music they played, in my opinion it wasn't very good."

"recently I was a seminar in bamberg and had a single room in the hotel wilde rose. my room, a single room was small, but it was all available, clean and decent and reasonable. there was a cabinet with enough clothes hangers and fannings and a secretary with a maple, the paper paper, information about the hotel, a price list for the minibar and envelopes, the usual. there were many light sources, a lamp at the entrance, one at the secretary, one at the bed. the bathroom unfortunately without window, but with ventilation, a large and a small towel and a daily are changed. my room was in the pedestrian zone, totally quiet. I give 4 stars and a recommendation to stay there."

"we were in cocoon last Saturday. what is offered here is unfortunately only disappointing. the smoky beef steak had a rubber-like consistency and the taste of the Thai curry court ordered by my man compared to that of an ordinary delivery service court - therefore in a ratio to a very high price more than inadequate!!The service staff was not attentive enough (after taking up our drinks orders we had to sayful 30min to wait for two (!) beverages, also need to be worked on the difficult to understand). For my man and me - as already mentioned - very disappointing, since our very high expectations to the cocoon restaurant in bamberg were unfortunately not fulfilled in the least. it is too bad for the beautiful, modern ambiente! we were for the first time and certainly also for the last time too gassed in the cocoon bamberg."

"Delicious sushi and very freshly prepared food. Soups and appetizers were really all recommended. We were there for the first time and have to reserve under the week, as the store was proper full. In Corona times something too full and it wasn't stopped who exactly the guests were, main thing many. The service was quickly on site when ordering, but very laboriously to reach someone of the operators. The selection of dishes was just enough, but it was difficult to understand what you actually ordered. It was very tasty and fresh, as described, therefore 4 stars, otherwise rather direction 3 stars"

"We went to Zapfhahn for lunch while on a day trip to Bamberg. There were no vegan options on the lunch menu, but the waiter said they would veganise the old fashioned burger for me. The patty was made with beans, and it was absolutely gigantic! It was a really big, tasty meal. The chips were even better than the burger, really well-seasoned. The staff seemed very informed about veganism and were really helpful. We sat out in the courtyard and really enjoyed the whole experience. The restaurant is quite central, so it's easy to pop in while you're seeing the sights."
