"My 3rd visit since they opened. Very good each time. Friendly service and will look forward to all employees feeling comfortable with their job so quickness can hopefully be gained. I do wish they offered the sandwiches toasted Going down to ??? on this post update. Starting with I LOVE dogs... but did you know you can freely bring your dogs in the store? Did you know it's also ok to let the dogs put their snoots all over the bags of chips smelling them? It's also ok to let them stick their nose behind the counter and get a little snack from one of the employees. Not sure I witnessed a glove change either so can't say for certain he didn't. And no this was most definitely not a service animal! ???? Very efficient staff working tonight 6-11-22. They were in sync on the cold line. I was in and out with 3 sandwiches with no real wait time."

"Very good Italian restaurant but a tad pricey for lunch for me on a reg basis. Everyone liked their dishes except for the one that ordered the chicken burrata. She said it was bland and ordered a side of Alfredo to add to it then she liked it. I tried a bite and thought they could've added more seasoning and garlic. I had their fish special which was the same as the sole parmesan but just with blackened redfish. I thought it was very tasty and filling. Fish was cooked perfectly and the cream sauce was very flavorful. I could only eat half. Lunch wasn't too busy and the service was good. "Fresh Strawberry Lemonade is so good! Refreshing and not too sweet. Chicken banh mi was excellent. Pad Thai was a little spicy (I'm a wimp) but good. Egg rolls were not amazing but were ok. Looking forward to trying their other types of banh mi."

"We have followed Sushi Rock through three different locations over the last 15 to 20 years and have come to know the owners well. The whole family works in the restaurant and they are very nice people. The fish is always fresh and they are always inventing new items that I have to keep pictures of to order on a future visit!Among the amazing menu items are: (1) Wild Ride a very spicy tuna hand roll with a toasted nori to make it easy to bite; (2) Angels Unagi with a quail egg and spices; (3) Cassidy Roll I ordered this SOOO many times they gave it a name and finally added it to the menu it is spicy, smooth, crunchy and sweet all at the same time; (4) Waygu Truffle Nigiri I never would have thought seared beef would be the thing to order in a sushi restaurant but this is amazing; (5) Home Smoke Salmon Sashimi If I went to a deserted island and could eat only one thing this would be it they smoke their own salmon holy cow; (6) Kanpachi Carpaccio They came up with the most amazing sauce to go with kanpachi fish; (7) The Cupcake I don 't know if this is the right name, but they came up with an amazing combination of toro, roe, uni and gold flecks (picture attached) I 'm not much for uni as they can attest, but this is awesome; (8) Spicy Tuna Rice Cakes the name says it all but there is a delicious sauce that gives a unique flavor that makes these amazing; (9) Oysters they don 't have them all the time but when they do they make giant oyster sashimi in the shell with yet another amazing sauce.We try to go on Saturday afternoons after the lunch crowd thins to encourage the sushi chefs Mark and Pearce to try new things. It 's the best time. They get so busy in the evenings these days because they have become so popular that we enjoy the afternoons best."

"The food here was amazing! We had 4 differnt types of sushi rolls shrimp fried rice, shishito peppers, fried veggie goyza , sashimi and saki and a margarita. Everything was great. Definitely top tier. Only thing The ambiance isn’t anything special and the waiter wasn’t friendly or happy at all. I’m not expecting you to jump for joy but at least ask if we’d like anything else or ask how the meal was? Overall I’d definitely go back. $102 for 2 people but the food we got was worth it."

"The food was pretty good but the service was terrible. The metal cup they brought was rusty inside and when I asked to change it they didn’t even apologize. The waiter just frowned and brought another cup. Furthermore, I had to ask for everything twice. It didn’t matter if I asked for bread, water, or napkins. I had to ask twice. Even though it wasn’t crowded, I waited way too long for things I shouldn’t have had to wait for. I’ve been going to Selda for a while and this is the first time I’ve had an experience this terrible."

"Service was not attentive at all. It was not busy, especially for a Friday night. We would have ordered more food but the waiter was no where to be found. It took 30 minutes just to get our first cocktails and then another 20-30 mins to bring out the bottle of wine we ordered that we were waiting to enjoy with our meats and cheese. The cheese was bland. By the time we finally got our waiter’s attention to take our order we were not interested in waiting for snacks and noodles so just ordered the one entree on the menu because the waiter said it was going to take another 25 mins to come out and we needed something to finish our bottle of wine with. The entree was actually really delicious so I wish we would have had more time to try other house made items instead of wasting our time and pallet on the cheese and meats. Sadly the service was so inattentive we didn’t want to order more because of how long everything took just to put in our order. From time of ordering food it didn’t take too long so this was simply a service issue imo. We booked the reservation for our anniversary and that wasn’t even mentioned once until just before the check came out. He brought a candle on a plate. Nice gesture but sort of weird to just bring a candle on an empty plate. Also the weird dirty naked thrift store baby dolls on the shelf near the welcome desk need to go. We won’t be going back."

"Here we goooooo!!!!! STK in Dallas packs an atmosphere and ambiance that will leave a lasting impression. My bride and I were in celebrating the joining of our union and were greeted by friendly faces at the host stand. We were sat in a area not too far from the DJ (which we enjoyed due to the occasion and introduce to our waitress Arianna. She seemed to be a little rattled by what would appear to be previous guests. After my wife had a short talk with the manager, her energy shifted and was AMAZING throughout the rest of the night Arianna explained the menu to us in detail and recommended shots that were simply amazing. We ordered several things from the happy hour menu that she recommended of which all were suuuUUUPER good! I would guess the manager informed the DJ of our occasion and he played several songs that had us dancing in our seats Towards the end of our night, the manager Marco sent a desert tray full of goodies that were to die for! I must say, the apple pie is a MUST HAVE. Overall, our time at STK was more than amazing and we would surely come back. If you are ever in the downtown Dallas area you have to check out STK. Marco and team THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUCH A GREAT TIME!!"

"I really wanted to like this place; however, reality didn't match with expectations. Our waiter seemed to have been sentenced to his job – certainly he didn't relish performing it. He mostly stood by the bar and stared into space. He was helpful in choosing a wine but other than that, mostly ignored us. Perhaps he thought that we stopped by to do him a favor. (It doesn't work that way. My appetizer, Polpo in a tomato-based sauce, arrived lukewarm with a cool center even though the rim of the small dish in which it was served showed that it had once been heated. Perhaps it sat on the counter in the kitchen while the waiter stood by the bar. For the main course, I had the osso buco special. Unlike my appetizer, it was served hot; however, it lacked any depth of flavor other than of salt, as in lots of it. My wife enjoyed her salad and the bucatini special but said that it was nothing special."

"Great restaurant in the area! Plenty of delicious food options for a great price. They had plenty of options available for our picky group and everyone got something different. The food came out fast, hot, and good. Service was very friendly and very attentive. Barbacoa was real good and the tortillas were home made. Plenty of seating available inside and plenty of parking spots in the lot."

"I'll start by saying the ribs tasted good. The line cook seemed to be the only one that kept his area clean and organized. I would not have eaten here if I had looked around before hand though. Everything about this place was unsanitary. The bathrooms are through the kitchen and you get a real look at the disgusting state of things. Buckets of foul smelling brown water. Flies everywhere , scooping ice with their bare hands. The prep kitchen was super dark. You could tell that the staff did not get along with each other, bickering in the dining room. Making comments how each other are worthless. Will not be back."

"Had reservations last Saturday for 7pm. Told the host/server/manager or whoever he was that we had a reservation. Looked at us like they had no idea we had a reservation. Told us it would be about 15-20 minutes. So we go to the bar to wait for over an hour. We finally get sat at our table. Service was almost non existent. Server didn’t seem to care to be there along with the rest of the staff. For a place that claims to be a high end steakhouse the food was sub par at best. Do not go here. There are dozens of other steakhouses in the Dallas area that are much better. Only redeeming quality was that the appetizers were very well made and thought out. Do not recommend at all. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE"

"I loathe being ripped off. From the time we enter to the dessert service... thumbs down. I expected Bar B Q restaurant in Texas to prepare a special meal... Nope. I live in New Hampshire, not known for Bar B Q, and can name a handful of establishments that are superior to this place. The brisket was tough, the ribs were just OK, the pit beans were over-spiced, the apple cider slaw was tasteless, the sauces were served ice cold... thank goodness for the blueberry cheesecake. The waiter was pleasant but really needs organizational training. When there is only one table being served in the restaurant, having to waiting 5 minutes plus to be seated is absurd, then having to wait 10 minutes to have our order taken is nonsense... still just two tables being occupied. I loathe being ripped off."

"We went for Christmas brunch 2023. We've been to the Fairmont Christmas brunch several times, but this year was disappointing. The menu was EXTREMELY limited and the food was just decent. Omelets are a staple at brunch. However, they didn't offer any omelets on the limited menu (What brunch doesn't have omelet? . The cut of beef they served for the prime rib was subpar. The French toast was good, however. We hadn't been since pre-covid, and I would presume others have been disappointed with Pyramid's Christmas brunch, as the restaurant was nearly empty (they used to have a good crowd . The saving grace was the service. Our servers, Elvira and Edith, were more than friendly and very attentive. Needless to say, we will not be back for Christmas brunch."

"The food was amazing. It was absolutely the best fresh lobster I have ever eaten. Kudos to the chef and kitchen staff. One dish was served cold, but the manager made things right. Our server only had 2 tables, as there were hardly any customers. Service was the slowest I have ever experienced at any Pappadeaux. Service this night, is the only reason I cannot give more stars. Again, excellent food!"

"We finally made it out (a few weeks ago I’ve been on the road didn’t get to this) to our local favorite chef, Luke Rogers restaurant, ‘Beckley 1115’. Extremely proud of his accomplishments! This is a hidden gem worth the visit. If you were lucky enough to taste his food while he was at the, ‘Cathedral Italian Bistro’ (Plano), you will be in for a treat! Beckley is a comfortable small (currently serving wine, but have applied for full liquor license) eclectic experience, with full focus on quality ingredients mindfulness on the food/flavor. (heads up name change in the works)Next time you are in Dallas for an event, or live in the vicinity, go give it a try! BTW, they have a nice wrap around patio too??"
