"Beware of pricing bait and switch! The food is good (let’s start with that— it’s good Thai)— BUT— the menu linked from this Google site is NOT what we were charged for takeout. I’m looking at the menu and receipt right now: salad rolls are 9 on the menu; they charged us $12. Pad Thai with tofu is 14 on the menu, they charged us $20. And so on. This is bait and switch, and we were not told until we arrived to pick up the food.Plus— a 20 percent service charge was automatically added on top of the already inflated bill, for takeout. The cashier just said “I know, we raised our prices. Covid and all” when asked about the dramatic price discrepancy. It seemed she felt bad, but nonetheless, that didn’t solve our problem.I don’t object to paying for good food. I DO object to being lied to. As for the service charge, 20 percent seems a little steep— and it, like the menu prices, should be transparent, not a surprise at pick-up.If we hadn’t been hungry and had hungry people at home, we could have walked away. If we had seen the prices up front and made an informed decision, we might have even posted a decent review as the food is good, had we not been charged overall about half again as much as we expected.Super disappointing. We won’t be back."
