"I was ultra impressed with this unassuming locals favorite restaurant. I've been hearing about Cafe Nooner for years and today was the day to pop the Nooner cherry! It has outdoor seating (right on a main road so not ideal), and spacious indoor seating. You order at the counter and then they'll deliver your food to you. I ordered the Flatbread Kebab with lamb and extra tzatziki. If you like lamb, you will LOVE this. It's sooo good. They also have the best local brews ciders on tap. I had a bite of the Signature Burger and the fresh bread bun really makes it extra delicious. If you are rolling thru town and want to experience a hidden hem of a restaurant... search no further! The only thing that wasn't 100% delish was the week old macaron. I should have known."

"Must-try: Piazza. Top rated Italian restaurant in Eureka. Overall great culinary experience with very friendly service in a beautiful city. Started with Wild Mushroom Cobbler, we have Piazza and Steak as the most important dishes. They are both delicious and piazza taste particularly amazing with simple components. My friend ordered ice cream for dessert. I tried black chocolate truffles with duck fat. It has a bit of salt on its top, while the truffle itself is not rich in taste of the duck."

"While you went through Eureka, CA enroute to Crescent City, CA, we were stuck in a sit down restaurant. In an attempt to avoid a chain facility, we have selected what looked like a middle class, average Joe Art Cafe. The service was boutique restaurant quality. The atmosphere was inconvenient and welcoming for all those who... The food... NEXT LEVEL wonderful. The steak was tender, perfectly cooked, juicy and carburized for perfection. The scampi was perfectly prepared and even the chicken gumbo was a pleasant surprise. The Chicken Alfredo is now my wife's favorite dish... This place is an absolute gold mine! Please don't waste your time on the Applebee 's or Denny 's a few blocks away. This place deserves all love!"

"About the kindest service I've ever had and the most tasty Burrito I've had in a time. In many places, if you order a veggie burrito, it is quite bland, but not so here incredibly aromatic. I had the fajitas burrito with veggies my first time here the wet burrito with veggies the second time; both were excellent. My sister chose the shrimp tacos the fish tacos loved them both, especially since they were gluten-free. The interior of the restaurant is also charming, with lots of fun artworks."

"Probably one of the best burgers I've had here in Eureka, I order the Humboldt and it was delicious, juicy and big, double patties, melted cheese, all the necessary's for a great hamburger. I've made it a point to try hamburgers from different restaurants here in Eureka and Fresh Freeze has by far the best for the best price."

"I made reservations online and got an email confirmation of my reservations. When I arrived at the restaurant they had no record of my reservation. Good thing it was not a busy night and had plenty of open tables because I would have been upset if my table wasn't ready. I ordered the fajita trio which tasted great and have alot of leftovers but the waiter didn't bother asking if I wanted it boxed up and just got rid of it. Poor service in my opinion. I will not be going again anytime soon not will I recommend it to others"

"Went for lunch and ordered a club sandwich, which is stated as having ham, turkey and bacon. The sourdough was very burnt and hard and only had bacon. We asked the staff if they ran out of turkey and ham and said we only had bacon and they told us we were wrong and that was turkey and ham. Made me double check myself and take apart the sandwich and there was only cold bacon straight out of fridge. They would not fix sandwich and insisted that the meat was ham and turkey. Unless they have some weird combo meat it was definitely just a BLT, which isn't even on the menu as an option."

"Absolutely disgusting. Sloppy and messy packaging and tasted so gross I couldn't even eat more than 2 bites before I fed it to my dogs. Ridiculous that this horrible thing was more expensive than if I ordered from Pat's King of Steaks in Philly. The bread was beyond awful, bitter and weird texture, the meat just tasted like shoe leather dipped in dirty sewer water. If you're craving the cheesesteaks of the east coast, do yourself a favor and just order from Pat's on goldbelly. They make them fresh, pack them in dry ice and ship them out you get them the next day and it's everything you hope for. Zero stars if I could."

"Good food. Good Ribeyes, salmon, halibut, crab cakes... Not keen on their Cesar salad. Love to sit in the bar and look across to the Marina. Such a beautiful location. Been frequenting this location for forty years, or more. First it was Reyes Y Casa Viejas, which was attached to a restaurant in Mt View called Reye's, on Castro Street. Then it was the Casa Blanca, then The Looking Glass, and now the Humboldt Bay Bistro. I've loved them all."

"Well my name is Ron and I treat myself once a week to the finest food in town. This place is very clean the people are some of the nicest I've met and man can they cook. Although I've tried everything on the menu my favorites are shrimp curry spicy with garlic naan and spicy butter chicken with cheese naan. Thank you for bringing a taste of India hands down the best food in town."

"Honestly the best pizza I had in town BUT the lady who worked the register was the worst experience I ever had with restaurant staff. We had to say our order five times, but they interrupted and tried to do a whole readiness comedy routine. She wasn't funny and was terrible at her job to the point where we only go from now on to the Arcata location, so we never have to interact with her again."

This new deli idea they have rolled out has made me start going other places. some of the new staff are just rude or don't pay attention to you standing there trying to get something. "Food and atmosphere here is always great . I had to take off a star because of our server . We came in on Thursday night and we called about reservations the girl said that there was nothing available until after 7:30 so we decided to shoot our shot and if it was full we would go to the sports bar part they just added . We got there at 5:30 and the place was dead so we were happy to eat inside . Our waitress was super sweet but she was ALL over the place . She literally seemed like she was running around like a chicken with its head cut off . She carried one of our waters under her arm (and she was wearing a tank top) and had her hands on top of the other one where you would drink from . She splashed the pitcher of water on the ground and on our table and didn’t pick it up , we felt like we had to hurry up and tell her everything we wanted to order at once because her attention span was so short she was off doing something else . It was super overwhelming and kinda gave us some anxiety. She was super sweet but really just needed to slow down a bit and just focus on what was happening in front of her . But food was great as always"

"I feel like giving 5 more stars every time I come in. Cadillac burrito no cream cheese extra jalapeños and coleslaw. Its just so good. Come for the food not the ambience. There is a table outside that is nice when it is sunny, but you do get to listen to the Starbucks girl be way too chipper over and over so if that makes you want to die a little bit inside maybe get takeout."

"The Mocajete was delicious, but only 3 small tortillas was not enough to eat it with, ordered 4 more and was charged $4.20. You wanted to throw them in if you spend $75 on two people. Esmeralda costs a dollar for a whole taco, not just a tortilla. Service was good and Margarita was on the point."

"I tried almost every Asian restaurant in Eureka, and I had begun to despair that the best food I could find was simply cut through. To my great pleasure, Annie is not only really excellent, her new location is in my neighborhood. Both my companion and I found the food pleasant and fresh. The service was attentive and prompt. The room was clean and well maintained and the abundance of plants helped create an inviting space. We will return soon!"
