"WHAT INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE THIS PLACE IS.I’ve heard from multiple friends this place was a ‘must go’ but since I don’t live close I’ve always been curious about trying this place. Last night me and some friends were near and were craving tacos, we went to the location in Anaheim but it was super packed, so we decided to go to this location and I think it was the best choice we ever made. It was busy but not as crazy as the one in Anaheim, unfortunately we got there minutes before the closing and there was no more ‘costillas’ available, which we wanted to try badly but that didn’t stopped us from ordering. We ordered a ‘cholo pizza’ with carne asada, and tacos from the prime meat menu. I would say this is the best carne asada I’ve ever had, it was so flavorful, not so dry and the portions are insane, YOU GET YOUR MONEY WORTH. The prime meats were so delicious and super tasteful, and again the amount of meat the put in the tacos is tremendously. Right after finished we had to get the Papa Loka just to try it and it was BOMB. WE COULDN’T EVEN FINISHED IT.The staff was very very nice, since they noticed it was our first time some of them they were recommending what to get and their favorite choices which were really good. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.The place is very clean, and the atmosphere is really nice…I can’t wait to drive all the wait to Fullerton again to eat here again, this time… for the costillas!"

"Ate the mouthwatering Archie panini and the accompanying side salad. The Archie showed me how to correctly blend gouda cheese, artichoke hearts and honey. Hung on the wall is some unassuming art. As I was noting the picture of a happy goat, the owner mentioned that embedded in each piece is a scanable code that takes your phone to a farm. I also noted a well stocked refrigerated case of unique cheeses. I will return to sample more menu items and I may try some of their jalapeño brie."

"I recently visited Izakaya Takasei and had a mixed experience.My boyfriend and I ordered the takoyaki, chicken cutlet and egg rice bowl, several yakitori, takowasabi (raw octopus with wasabi), and the Kobe beef roll. While the takoyaki and yakitori were delicious, the chicken cutlet and egg rice bowl was really bland. The Kobe beef roll was a bit odd with the combination of garlic butter and tataki sauce. Unfortunately, there were also a few items on the menu that were no longer available, which was a bit disappointing. It would be good for the restaurant to update their menu to avoid any confusion or disappointments.While the food at Izakaya Takasei comes out quickly, this can also be a double-edged sword. During my visit, my boyfriend and I received several dishes at once, which meant that a lot of our food was sitting out and getting cold while we were eating the others. It would be great if the kitchen could pace the dishes better to ensure that everything is served at the optimal temperature.The service was a bit lackluster as well. The only time we were able to ask for condiments, utensils, and more water was when the employees brought our food out. No one checked on us throughout our meal, and it would have been nice to have a more attentive staff.On the plus side, the restaurant has nice Japanese decor and is quite spacious. However, there was no background music, which made the ambiance a bit dull.Overall, while there were some drawbacks, Izakaya Takasei may be worth checking out if you're in the area and in the mood for some Japanese cuisine. Just be sure to join the wait-list on Yelp beforehand and check in with the host when you arrive."

"Loved this place since I was a little girl getting a big hug from Charlie every time my parents stopped in to grab us a pizza. Thirty some odd years later and now I take my daughter there for great pizza (sadly, Charlie has been gone for years and management has changed, but the food hasn 't). I still enjoy many great pizzas with my parents too. They have a consistent crust that isn 't too thick or thin and never dirty on the bottom. The pizzas have that picture perfect stretchy cheese. I admit that their toppings aren 't my go-to favorite, but you can 't win them all. I don 't want to run out of room or lose your attention, so let me wrap this up. I would be remiss if I didn 't mention their cheesesteaks which are one of my all-time favorites in the Valley. Lastly, their appetizers, overall, are pretty average for a pizza place, but I do love their pierogis. If they aren 't church pierogis, then I don 't know my pierogi. I recommend stopping by for a slice and a pierogi sometime. You won 't be disappointed. (Quick note: the seating here is not fat or chronic pain friendly. Oof. Parking: Not a ton of spot, but the restaurant is mostly pick-up. There is not the need for a lot of parking spots. It is less than a minute walk from any spot to Chaalies. "We found cakes and desserts from Patty through our restaurant The Orange Hill. We couldn't have been happier with our cake. All our guests loved it. The cake was not too sweet, but only sweet enough, cake was moist and just delicious. Our cake was delivered to the venue in time. I would definitely recommend Patty's cake. They are professional, their cakes taste amazing. I promise you won't be disappointed. Plan a tasting and see yourself, they have a ton of variety cakes and fillings to choose from."

"Very busy place; we have in about 5pm on Sat weekend night. We have the last available table. to-go/online order stops. The business seems pretty good. its a great place for trying to get pasta dishes from different regions. cutting the hand noodle is one of the best I had in a long time. very chewy as I said. The service is attentive. a star taken away; his personal taste. the dishes are good; but it could be better in texture or taste. Overall, I recommend who wants to try pasta from Asia-style; You will not be disappointed if you are new to this type of kitchen."

"Food mediocre- nothing to praise about nothing to complain about. Honestly it was whatever. I like the ambience. Service was horrible. I have received better service at Danny's.When we arrived at the restaurant, the host look at us or greet us. After waiting for a bit,I had to say Hi first. Hmmmmm....Ok...We were party of 4. 3 people had finished the meal but my niece wasn't even half done and the server brought out dessert to show us. We said we would pass and he dropped the bill on the table. Uh.... ok.....Couple minutes pass and while my niece was STILL eating busser asked if we wanted a to-go box. What????We were not even there for an hour. There was open tables. I don't know why the restaurant was in such a rush to get rid of us. We weren't looking gross, we didn't smell, we are paying customers. This tops my worst restaurant experience list."

"My partner took me here for our anniversary we ordered the Classic Chateaubriand for Two, they did not ask how we wanted our file not to mignon cooked (I like blue/ras, she likes good) as unfortunately it was not as done as we would have liked. The garlic potatoes were good and so the vegetables, although I had preferred the onions to be grilled longer, were quite raw at the first layer. waiting for food and drinks was quite long likely because it was very busy. I would suggest a reservation that we didn't know it was an option before. Our meals came with a truffle glass and a white chain of taste both were subtle. We ordered cocktails as well as mocktails a few different versions of the cuff and the river of dreams, the drinks were definitely the star of the show here they were absolutely delicious and were presented beautifully. I really loved the lighting for ambience, the brick walls and older music was a nice touch. I would usually return for drinks. Service here was really good, the staff was knowledgeable and encouraged us to ask questions that we needed about our foods and drinks, even help us decide on some drinks. Michael was our waiter, but we also had someone who split up as a server, and someone else who looked at us while passing."

"A solid Meh on the food scale. My dinner consisted of watery oysters Rockefeller that lacked finesse. The breadcrumbs lacked color as it wasn 't baked enough. I then was underwhelmed by the Cajun noodles. Oversauced limp noodles that exhibit the same heavy handed cooking technique of the oysters. This restaurant is a kitschy disappointment in my book. Save your calories and money for much better in Fullerton."

"Service was very fast! Sausage Muffin, Hash Browns, and Iced Caramel Coffee were delicious. BUT I ordered an Apple Pie and received something called a “Cookie and Cream Pie!” I seldom pass over anything sweet, but this was awful! Too sweet, cloying, and definitely not something to include with Breakfast!!!"

"I found this place because I really believed a Poke bowl and it was the next one I was. This place packed my bowl with so much food. I got the little bowl and it was enough to fill me and I could even share some with my sister. The seafood was fresh and they had several ways to decide. Also the service was quite fast and the guy who made my bowl was very nice and patient with me. I definitely go back to this place and recommend it to my friends and family."

"I go with my friends who like to eat healthier, but are not vegetarian or vegan. I can get an salate that's pretty good. there are no vegan dessert options, and I need to ask a lot about what has happened. there are tons of vegetarian options, but not many things for vegans. the menu is a romantic and really sweet to go through. they can customize a lot of dinge to make it vegan, but I in the rule with the thai peanut salad, that is a huge portion. eating is also not my favorites, but it is a sweet little restaurant in a house, so the atmosphere is fun and my friends really enjoy it. it is a good place to take non-veg friends as there are options for them both, but if they are vegan, they need to look for a bit of menu."

"I booked on open table but the greeter told me to wait in line with everyone else. The line wasn’t moving so I eventually went to the host stand and they sat us. We waited an hour for our food and our appetizer never came. The people next to us ordered before we did and still hadn’t been served all of their food when we left. I felt bad for them. The managers were not walking around to check in people. And the wait staff wasn’t forthcoming either updated about peoples food. Seems like maybe there was an issue with the computers but nothing was said to the patrons. A big well known chain like this should have their act together especially on a Saturday night. Pretty disappointed experience. Luckily the food was pretty good."

"2.5 stars would be perfect, but you must choose 2 or 3. It's not bad, but it's not great either. It is very expensive and that knocks it a star and the other star and half is the food itself. It gets 2 1/2 stars because of the service and cleanliness. I ordered a Bento with Sesame Chicken and Knirschenrolle. The sesame chicken tasted like refrigerator and the cripple reel was fish....and not in a good way. My wife liked her food... an Albacore salad. The children's courts are like $15. It is easily the most expensive children's meal in any restaurant except perhaps Napa Rose, which is a high-end restaurant....and I'm pretty sure her children's meal also went $15 last time and much better. My meal was $25. At $18 it would have been too much. We weren't in a few years, though we can go there and I remember why. Many people seem to love this place, but unfortunately I had 2 or 3 subpar experiences. I will probably try it in a few years just because every place deserves an opportunity to improve. The service was very good. The place is beautiful."
